Oh what to say about Karma.... Karma is such a lovely experience. From the atmosphere, to the drinks, to the delicious Tapas, Karma has so much going for it. Somewhat small, Karma does a whole lot with its space, sporting interesting nick nacks, and doo dads all throughout the inside portion of it. Every time you go in their is something new to see or find, its like a live I Spy book from your childhood. The atmosphere breeds interesting and deep conversation, fueled by the pleasant burning of incense, and the pleasant melodies that play and fill the space on a regular basis, from floyd, to french acoustic. The Bartenders are some great people, that have really made my personal experience on many an occasion, and the House Dog, that lounges on the floor on the regular is an absolute sweetheart. If you are going and enjoy a good Cider, they have one of my personal favorites on tap, which I highly recommend. I frequent Karma often and its one of those places that feel like rocks in the middle of a stormy sea. Good vibes, good drinks, and good energy abound in Karma and I recommend it as a place to relax, drink, and talk with friends and loved...
Read moreLoved the vibe inside Karma Brew! We were walking back to our hotel after seeing a show at Ace of Spades and noticed this quaint little bar on corner of 16th & P Streets inside this house with a patio full of patrons with a fantabulous view of Fremont Park. It was a little bit chilly for us on this brisk November fall night as we opted for no jackets in the aforementioned venue for our concert and looking to go into someplace to cozy up for a libation. Karma Brew was just the place to entertain us with kitschy, eclectic, unique furnishings throughout while we enjoyed one of the rotating tapped brews for my hubby and my spirit of choice aka Vodka for somewhere to unwind.
Karma Brew is one of those warm and inviting places that when you walk in that is chill and perfect for catching up with a friend, romantic date night or just enjoying the outdoor patio to people watch. Look forward to popping in here again to try some of the tapas and the mulled wine that they offer on the cozy...
Read moreThis place is a gem. It is really a small little bar with a small outside patio area with eclectic decor. But the staff is very attentive, the drink selections are exceptional, and the small food menu is all made with care. We enjoyed a bowl of soup, that was made to order, as well as their meat and cheese tray, and some cake along with our beverages. Great spot for a relaxing beverage and to hang out with friends. We were there on a Thursday night and there was also a talented acoustic guitar player than enhance the environment. They do have a traditional happy hour if you want to stop by...
