Lofts at Globe Mills — Attraction in Sacramento

I have a sister that lives at The Lofts at Globe Mills. She has lived there for 4yrs, and I have seen first hand how deplorable this place is. There are RATS, which has brought flees, and now shes is be treated by her doctor due to the flers! She was fine before this, with NO internal medical conditions and has never had to take any oral meds up until now! As a. Advocate for my sister I will be contacting the health department because she now has to take an oral medication for this issue!!! NO senior citizen or disabled person should be living in such conditions as this! The conditions are Horrible and this will not be the last time you here from us.... #seniorsanddisabledhaverights... And they are throwing people cloth in the trash while doing there laundry if they leave , and when they come back all your shit is gone. My sister has had it with this place. It very unclean. The location of it is in a RAT INFESTED area and homeless peoples. My Sister and Seniors that lives there deserves better. And the Staff is VERY VERY RUDE AND...

My visit here to see my Mom was nice but seeing the Apartment location was a little misleading there are a few areas that really need care like: Elevators need cleaning and disinfecting regularly, entrance of at the doors concrete needs a really good pressure washing from all the foot traffic and debris left by homeless people, the carpets throught the place really could use some updating because of continuous walking in the same path of it making it dark with dirt especially when it's rainy season. Ive been to the gym/recreation area and it is nice but good ventilation really can help with stagnant smells.

Overall the place is nice but could use some upgrades, the rent my Mom and Step Father pay is very good for their small income but I could only hope for what money that they do pay it's not just going into the pocket and only coins of the owner are being used to fix the most...

Cool old grain mill turned into loft apartments. Can still see the old machinery! Like a cool live in museum!

UPDATE 2023: When I first moved-in in 2015, this was a cool place to live. But the current manager of the property for a few years is incompetent and highly rude. We have had issues with lighting and leaks that they wont do anything about. Couldn't tell you how many times I've filled out maintenance requests. They also have had more than 10 maintenance guys since before covid who I don't believe have any prior experience. The location has been the only reason why I have stayed but I cant take this place anymore. Looking...
