Before we went to the capitol, we stopped by the gift shop, and it was closed. That was probably around 1:45 p.m. It opened up just before we left to take a tour of the Capitol which was lovely. We came back around 3 and saw other people waiting. The clock on the door looked like the be back message said 2:45... Anyway, we were waiting until around 3:20 and then asked the lady at the tour office when she would be back. We waited until 3:50... The girl finally showed up. There was no pleasant greeting from the girl or any acknowledgement of our existence.
The tour office lady came out of her office and inquired about her absence and said she had no way of contacting her. The girl said nothing and said to herself the clock was on 3:45 not 2:45.
I was wondering when the heck this person worked and sad that she most likely had treated others this way in the past. This was truly the only negative experience I've had in Salt Lake City.
