It's awesome, and they have a lot of stuff; but the organization is horribly flawed. All the food is directly in the sun (regardless of time), and if you want time (temperature) sensitive items such as meat and cheese, they are already baking in the sun. Bring a cooler if you want it a prepare to haul that around... The cool dude that makes the concrete statues was nowhere to be found (in the 2 hours we were there), and the sand he had his objects in were filled with hornets; wanted to buy, couldn't because of this reason. The food trucks were incredibly limited, and only seemed to be catered to long lines of overpriced coffee. Not even a single taco truck and no breakfast! Parking was an absolute joke (despite getting there early), and there were few areas for free water and hardly any water available for my dog. The center of the park was entirely barren, and caused the masses to be smashed into one another along slim sidewalks. There are great goods and foods here, but the heat, disorganization, and parking... I feel like it is an expensive waste of time unless you are very specific and specialized for what you are purchasing, let alone where and how to get it effectively. Sorry guys, I hate writing this but you deserve a real and comprehensive review. Oh! Also ZERO toilets as far as the eye could see. Good luck if you need to make even S pee pee...
Read moreWe were conscientious and took the Green line Trax to Downtown, we had to walk a couple blocks there and back. Remember, walking is good for you. We took our re-useable bags and a backpack with Ice bags.
The weather started out cloudy and cool when we arrived which was about 9:45am. That changed in less than an hour, which was close to the time we were leaving.
We bought veggies, fruits, and a bunch of corn.
The venue was fairly crowded all the way around, with your usual jewelry, clothing, foods, and other miscellaneous booths around the block. There were a good amount of booths with fruits and vegetables. One booth had just Peaches and a line of people about 20 deep.
There was an abundance of booths with a variety of baked goods . As well as the usual food trucks in the middle of the park. Overall it was a good experience and worth the time getting there and back.
