Hidden Gem in San Antonio – Hays Street Bridge Skatepark & Community Garden 🛹🌿
San Antonio just got even cooler with the newly remodeled area under the Hays Street Bridge! What was once a quiet corner is now a vibrant community space where creativity and connection collide.
The skatepark is legit—smooth pavement, solid ramps, and rails that invite skaters of all levels to show off their skills. Whether you're practicing your first ollie or filming tricks for your next edit, this spot has the right energy.
But what really sets this space apart is the addition of community planter boxes filled with fresh herbs and veggies. It’s an unexpected and awesome combo—skate culture meets urban gardening. The park is barely a year old (as of this posting) and the concrete is already cracking/ chipping. It's fairly smooth concrete, but poorly set.
No parking. You gotta park on the street.
Overall- good try but not highly...
