It’s located right underneath the iconic Hays Street Bridge. Although I didn’t do it, I was told that it was ok to walk up to the bridge with your beer and take in some awesome views of the area. The tap master here was awesome - she’s only been here a couple of months but it’s obvious she has the tastes down and she can give some solid recommendations based on your preferences. Tricentennial Ale (an amber ale) - I asked how long they’ll have it but she wasn’t sure. It was VERY good but you can’t buy it in stores. Get down here and try it - really, it’s THAT good. I tried another seasonal on my visit. This one was the Oktoweizen. Similar to a typical Oktoberfest beer, but with hints of banana. Not typically my style, but I would get it again. They can’t fill growlers or sell canned/bottled beer to go because of the volume of beer they produce due to the stupid TX beer laws. Only two or three of their brews are available in local retails stores at the moment. So if you want to try the Tricentennial Ale or the Oktoweizen, you have to visit the brewery. It’s well worth the trip - TRUST me on this! The afternoon that I visited, they weren’t offering flights and I was told they hadn’t had them for a month or two. This was because most of the glassware for the flights had ā€œwalked offā€ or had been broken. Half pint pours are $3 Full pint pours are $6 TONS of parking! This place has PLENTY of room to hangout (both inside and outside) and they even have live music on certain days. There’s a food truck if you get the munchies on your visit. The place seems to be up to date and not very old, yet the tap master told me they were in the midst of renovating and updating certain areas both inside and out.

This is our new favorite place to get a beer. We have been on a Saturday around 2 PM and on a weekday right after they opened at noon in late May and early June. Pros: On the Saturday we went, there was a bit of a line, but it moved quickly and the bartenders were friendly and fast. The prices were fantastic! You can get a liter for about $5 and a half liter for half the price! I loved every beer I tried; great selection. They have a small selection of food and even a hummus for veg option. They have large bathrooms that are ice cold even when it's really hot outside. There was even a live DJ on the Saturday afternoon we spent there, outdoor games, and it's family and pet friendly. The beautiful Hays Street Bridge is right there, too. Cons: More shade and misters would be amazing, but it's hard for me to complain with the prices and quality of the beer. The line CAN get long, but I have found it worth the wait when there was one. I highly recommend checking out Alamo Beer Company!

I actually have had great times here when I visited here, however, I have an unauthorized charge from there the day after I left SA as I’m from out of town. I tried to call to resolve the issue, but the phone rings ā€œout of serviceā€ and so I can’t get into immediate contact to resolve the issue or to see what happened so it doesn’t happen to other patrons. And unfortunately my bank isn’t quick to resolve issues like this. I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but honestly that was my only thing that’s made me overall sad about the experience. I have not had any other charges made elsewhere since, so it seems like a mistake that happened at the brewery and I’d like to resolve it kindly and with understanding. I only had one tab that I signed and paid for, but then there is a second charge I don’t know where that came from a day AFTER I was there. Aside from that, tasty beer, beertenders are nice, and it’s been cool with the vendors there/events. My only other things are, I’d recommend some type of coverage/shade to put up where artists perform so they’re not burnt up from the sun in the area where they usually set stage. It was brutal with this Texas sun! That and for the crowds to come up closer and enjoy the music without having to hide under the trees/bridge. So some kind of extra shade for performers and viewers. One of the parking lot guys for load in was very rude too. I understand customer service and how frustrating it can be, but he was rude too when we were only trying to load in and re-park elsewhere. He wasn’t listening at all to our inquiries and was just repeating himself impatiently. The other parking lot guy was nice though, appreciate that. I hope my issue will get resolved and that this is a one off experience. Had not that experience so far, 4/5 stars, but as I’m in the industry too and it’s very important to pay attention to tabs and not overcharge and or unauthorized purchases and it being a brewery alongside the parking lot attendant and lack of shade for performers/crowd- 3/5. I’m unable to reach anyone and I’m from out of town so it’s not...

If you like so so beer, so so service, and a staff who doesn't know anything about beer at all you will love this place. Most consumers don't know anything about beer and their palate is uninformed so most people probably love this place. Granted, I am a former brewery owner and brewmaster but it's important to have quality and at least have a staff who knows something about beer. I asked if there was any IPA on tap and the server offered me an imperial IPA. Turns out that was not an imperial IPA but a barrel aged barley wine that I didn't want in the first place. Next, I attempted to get their hazy which was in a can but whatever came out of that can was not hazy and in fact, was an infected beer. It should not be served but most people probably won't even notice. Infection probably occurred due to poor sanitation in the canning process or even the original brewing process. When I complained they could absolutely care less and just offered me another malt bomb of an IPA out of a can. The beer tender asked me what glass I wanted and I said a pilsner glass and she had no idea what a pilsner glass was. To that point they didn't have any ale glasses just some kind of German style stein which is inappropriate for craft ales and pilsner glasses. Oh, and we ordered a pretzel which never came, instead we received a burning smell from...
