This is a very cool piece of environmental art made out of trees. The artist used trees that had already been cut down (he did not cut them down), and he just moved them here (with help) and rearranged them so that they lined up in a zigzagging line. This is a beautiful, quiet area that really is not frequented by many tourists...all the people I came across here (3 people in an hour) were all people who lived in the area. This price of art is interesting since it will eventually rot away like the artist planned it to. It just a bunch of logs connected together, but the placement of them within the small path in the park that it is in makes it beautiful. It adds to the uniqueness that is the Presidio. It's a great place to take photos. It's placed right along side the Lovers' Lane trail, making it easy to find but they're is not exact lane going into it which means you have to look where you're walking if you want to walk along side...
