Did not have a great experience here - needed an eyebrow wax and I know Benefit takes walk-ins, and since I was taking the bus I didn’t want to make an appointment in case the bus was running late. I even checked online to see their availability for the day and they had open appointment times all day long, so I thought being a walk in would be totally fine.
From the moment I walked in I felt ignored and like a bother. I asked if they took walk ins, the employee (who was doing makeup or something on a customer) said yes, and I said I wanted an eyebrow wax. All she said was “okay”. A few minutes later she tells me to sign myself in on the iPad, so I do. I stand around waiting and another employee comes and asks if I’m waiting for a service and I say yes and that I signed myself in on the iPad, and she said (rudely) “well you need to talk to us if that’s what you want”. ?? Seems like communication is lacking between employees. The woman that did my eyebrows was actually very nice and I thought she did a good job until I got home and looked in better lighting, only to see that it looked like I didn’t get a wax whatsoever. It’s not even a week later and I already need another wax.. usually I wait a month.
Also, the same woman who did my brows recommended me a foundation and since I was in the market for a new foundation I decided to buy it. She also told me she’d throw in a bunch of samples with my purchase but had another client to wax so couldn’t check me out. She told the same woman from the beginning to make sure to give me samples, which she didn’t. I don’t even care about the samples but just the fact that she didn’t give me them goes to show the type of customer service I was given.

I called earlier in the day to make an appointment but I have a baby and I didn’t want to commit to a time as the woman said I could come and walk in. My baby did finally fell asleep I drove 20 minutes drove around looking for parking walked in and asked if I could get my eyebrows done as a walk-in and she said that they were full for the day and very busy and I would have to come back the next day. I have no problem waiting to be squeezed in in between appointments if possible. Camille heard my please for help as I don’t have much free time to do things like this and she said if I came back in 20 minutes she would happily do my eyebrows. I was very thankful when I got a coffee and enjoyed my alone time came back 20 minutes later and as I was waiting for Camille the woman that refused my service happily took in another walk in right in front of me . She had a completely different tune with this other customer absolutely I’ll do your eyebrows right now no problem. As I was getting my eyebrows done she didn’t look very busy to me with no customers for the entire duration of my appointment. Unfortunately I did not catch your name but she had reddish hair pulled back in a ponytail. She treated me very unprofessionally and unfairly. Just a heads up what is happening at this store. Read more**EDIT: after my original review, the manager reached out to me to help make things right. She called me and I explained the situation to her. She was extremely kind and understanding and offered a free wax and tint done by herself. She did my brows with precision and care. She listened attentively to what I wanted and delivered! She was so bubbly, fun, and easy to chat to. I'm so glad I went back because the 2nd experience was SO much better.
Old review: peaches did a brow wax and tint for me. I'm unsure if she was having a bad day but she was just very unapproachable. she started with tinting my eyebrows and the dye was too light and looked like it did nothing, so I requested to make it darker. Immediately her body language changed and she seemed annoyed that I asked to go darker. Anyway, next, she started mapping out the brows to prep for the wax and OMG she basically drew 2 giant rectangles, so I asked her to try and even it out. She kept drawing lines so far high up and I told her my eyebrows naturally don't grow hair there. At this point I was simply just scared to provide further feedback. then she filled them in and it literally just looked like 2 sharp rectangles above my eyes.
