Just had to share how awesome my time at Hairchitect on Union Street in SF was! I’d been putting off a haircut for way too long and finally decided to switch things up with a new style. Hairchitect totally came through! The barber was super chill, actually listened to what I wanted, and hooked me up with this perfect fade—it’s spot-on what I had in mind. I’ve been getting tons of “you look great!” comments ever since.

The place itself? So cool and laid-back. It’s got this stylish yet relaxed feel, like you could just kick back and enjoy being there while they work their magic. And since I was already there, I figured why not try a shave too? Best decision ever. The hot lather and straight razor were pure bliss—seriously, I felt like I was at some fancy spa getting pampered. My face has never felt this smooth!

Jonny is the best barber, period. Been getting cuts from him since a few months before he opened Hairchitect.

I have fine thinning hair, which is probably more challenging than thicker hair for average barbers to make look good. So I used to wear it very short for years because it was safer. Fortunately, Jonny knows what's up, and I've been progressively growing it out. He also dialed my short beard and taught me how to maintain it. I don't think I really gave him specific directions, he just figured out my hair. Hairchitect indeed!

Before my wedding haircut appointment, he had the presence of mind to ask for a picture of my outfit to make sure the cut would match. Needless to say, my wife said "yes".

To top it off, he's super friendly and down-to-earth, and the vibe of the shop is sweet -- music, beverages (really good espresso among others), lounge area.

The vibe is unmatched. Stylish, warm, and welcoming. They offered me an espresso that honestly took me on a little trip to Italy. Smooth, rich, and full of character. It perfectly matched the whole experience.

And the haircut itself? Absolute perfection. Every line, every blend, every detail was done with such care and focus. Jonny’s attention to detail is next level. While I was waiting for my turn, I couldn’t help but watch the other barbers. Every single one of them was giving incredible cuts, and every client walked out looking sharp and happy.
