Downtown Santa Fe, NM — Attraction in Santa Fe

It’s a pretty area but not what I expected because it doesn’t live up to the hype. Since pot is legal in NM, there a few people smoking on the sidewalks and some fentanyl users hanging around frozen in their tracks. Totally distracting it being a historic area. There are some historic sites but mainly businesses selling stuff. Drive up the mountain instead towards the ski area, beautiful forests, hikes and vistas that...

Nice area, lots of shopping and vendors but maybe a little too dog friendly as you constantly have to watch out for people's dogs. Everywhere you look dogs are urinating on stores, sidewalks, curbs, sitting benches even on the Chapel entrance. 20 dollars for parking but it's pretty close...
