As a fellow 'ski' I've always had a fondness for the rare Polish hero of American history. Pulaski is one of the greats in this category and it was a delight to find this monument to him and his place in our Revolutionary War history. It was a pleasant bit of luck to pass through Pulaski County Georgia and spot a plaque to Pulaski next to the Pulaski County Courthouse in Hawkinsville, Georgia as well. Having lived in New York for two decades, a much more familiar place name heard is the Pulaski Bridge, ahhhh history.

Casimir Pulaski Monument in Savannah, or Pulaski Monument on Monterey Square, is a 19th-century monument to Casimir Pulaski, located at the Monterey Square, on Bull Street, Savannah, Georgia, not far from the battlefield where Pulaski lost his life during the siege of Savannah. No one need ask the rhetorical, “If Savannah could talk,” because she doesn’t just talk; she sings her Southern song through the preservation of her past. Savannah’s history remarkable and alive!

A beautiful Park designed to honor General Pulaski. The plaque tells the story of this great man. The monument is very pretty and the park is very clean.
