Excellent customer service from start to finish. Went in for a couples massage and it's very peaceful and clean. After we changed into our robes, they had drinks and snacks to start with, available at no charge, which was nice. The environment was relaxing and welcoming. While waiting for our massage we enjoyed our experience and sipped on water. We were then introduced to our massage therapist whom were both nice and professional. Upon completion of our massages, we were taken to the back lounge/patio area and offered mimosas and cake to relax with and enjoy ourselves in the peaceful atmosphere. In the entirety, we never felt rushed and the staff was fully accommodating. Only reason I gave it 4 stars was the pesky bugs outside while trying to relax and when we came in for our appointment time, that I had booked a week in advance, I was informed that somehow I was double booked due to outdated software and had to adjust my appt time for 3 hours later. I was given 10% off which was nice and I appreciated. All in all, I would go back even with the minor setbacks. I recommend stopping by.
Update * called to schedule a massage after failed attempts on their website and spoke to someone name ruby I believe? Explained the situation and tried to book a massage. Told her I was trying to schedule a couple's massage and she said due to Covid19 they have restrictions on massages. Ok that's understandable......She stated they will try to get you in separate rooms around the same time...I asked if that applies for everyone or any exceptions for husband and wife couples. After that she immediately said oh ok will 2pm work. I said sure but just want to make sure that's for a couple? She rudely said I already told you due to Covid19 we're not doing couple massages I'll try to get you both at the same time with different ppl in different rooms..... well excuse me lady for verifying before being charged $400 dollars when you nonchalantly brushed my question off and tried to schedule me without clarifying or offering an answer to my question. Well after my first time here scheduling a couple's massage and being double booked and told they didn't have 2 massues available to come back in 3 hours...... I still had hope and attempted to use their services again but after that horrible customer service and a company just trying to make a dollar, I won't be back. Wish you well. Think twice before committing to...
Read moreWe came to Sedona on our babymoon and were looking for a couples massage. I was specifically looking for somewhere that could do a prenatal massage during a couples massage. When we arrived, we were provided with robes and flipflops as well as an opportunity to use the bathroom and shower if we wished. They have a nice sitting area with local books, hot tea, water, and snacks. The owner stopped in while we were there and stopped by to say hello and have a short chat as well.
With prenatal massages, you never know if the therapist is actually trained in prenatal techniques and if they are going to go super slightly and barely touch for fear of hurting you. I was so pleased when my therapist, Genevieve, gave a lovely 90 minute massage really working on the spots that needed it with adequate and supportive pressure. She made sure to support me with pillows when I was in sidelying as well as a wedge when I was in supine (on my back). Additionally, she offered a gentle belly massage, making sure to keep me otherwise covered and comfortable.
My husband's therapist was Diaz and he really enjoyed the firm pressure they offered as he enjoys a deeper massage.
Outside, they have a hot tub and fire pit. We didn't choose to use the hot tub this time. After the massage, they offered mimosas and orange juice.
We loved our experience and found it well worth the investment....
Read moreI am endlessly thankful to Sedona’s New Day Spa, their owner Jill, massage staff and front desk crew! So much warmth, understanding and true desire to help. Needless to say, the place is a true oasis—beautiful, clean, relaxing, with attention to every small detail. I was never in a rush to leave whether enjoying the breeze of the outdoor patio or the coolness of the calming waiting/“hydration” room. I arrived to Sedona with a lot of pain in my back, shoulders and neck. I could barely move my head side to side there was so much tightness and tension in my body. All chiropractic treatment failed, so I turned to massage therapy. My first myofascial massage at New Day Spa brought me back to life, so I decided to continue with the massage. I added craniosacral therapy with Aileen and achieved even more relieve and mobility in my body. Aileen is a fantastic specialist—I felt light as a feather after her treatments, and she helped me a lot with further advice how to continue healing when I go back to New York. I got so much better, that I started going on almost daily hikes and enjoying Sedona like a true out-of-towner should. I continued going to New Day Spa during my entire stay in Sedona/Cottonwood for 1.5months. Thank you so much for showing me the...
