Local Juicery — Restaurant in Sedona

I am here to de influence you. Local Juicery is not the vibe, here’s our experience.

Firstly the place is pretty small. They offer seating outside, however there is not much seating inside.

Items are way over priced. We ordered 3 smoothies, avocado toast and PB waffles for 100 dollars. We weren’t even paying attention to prices but after the bill was mentioned it was a bit of a “wow for this?” moment.

Ordering was not the best experience either. We were greeted with some good energy and an explanation of the menu and how to order, however the lady behind the counter was rude and stand offish. Wasn’t good.

Food came and the guy delivering our food to the table spilled one of our smoothies. He simply left. My mom started to clean up the mess as the girl who worked there cleaned the other table next to her and just watched her clean up the mess that the staff made with our order. No offer to remake the smoothie either. What’s even more shocking, was when we asked if we could get another smoothie remade, we were met with hesitation, strange looks and attitude. The lady took the cup and went to the kitchen to complain about us.. “a little smoothie spilled and they want a whole new one?” Is what we could hear from the kitchen.

Food: mediocre and did not taste fresh. The waffle was okay. Smoothies: tasted very grittty and lacked freshness

Experience was not worth 100 dollars for avocado toast a waffle and 3 bland smoothies. You can do better at...

As you can see from the photo we clearly hated the food 😉 This place is a must whenever I am in Sedona. The juices are phenomenal and always stocked up!! The food options in the fridge and from the menu are very delicious and each ingredient is consciously chosen for specific reasons. As someone who investigates all that goes into my body this is important for me. The staff are nice and willing to dive into the menu with a smile, but with the small venue and very busy rush hours they can get caught up running around, but that makes perfect sense. My favorite menu item there is the SUPERFOOD OAT BAR!! I could eat 10 a day I swear!!

I will say the prices are on the steeper side. That is why this isn’t an everyday destination with most trips there ranging from a $50 to $100 journey, but the things I order are not just for one meal and serve my body very well which brings me back when I am in town or in Sedona for extended periods of time.

I would encourage the team to re-evaluate the point system. As someone who can be in Sedona for weeks at a time only getting 1 star for a $15 purchase and also only getting 1 star for a $150 purchase is pretty rough. I would love to see it based on dollar spend increments instead! This would be the only thing I would like to see changed, I acknowledge cost and value here run hand in hand, so a point system to reflect that would be amazing!!

I love products! I really do..

Yet, there are a few things you should know about.

I do with they were bottled in glass... everytime I choose to buy an 11 dollar drink it's usually in glass.. I'm wondering why there is still plastic?

I am wondering if there is a lot of waste. . It seems like there are always ones on sale and a bunch of product going bad at once. I'd love to support a restaurant more in tune with these healing qualities..

I get 11 $ for fresh pressed juice the day of or before, but not when it's been sitting there 2 plus days.. It's really too expensive here, especially when the quality isn't always the same with the food, and I never know what I'm really going to get.

I am grateful, yet, for a juicery in town.. but it seems to be targeting tourists and people who actually live here and would love to be healthier on a juicing diet never actually get the chance to benefit from having a juicery in town since it's so expensive..

I believe youd get a better flow through here, locals and all, if the juices were even 2 dollars cheaper than they are now.

I want to be clear that I'm not complaining, just stating the facts that I and many people I know have witnessed over the last couple years.. I wish you the best in being able to provide from your heart and not your mind when it comes to creating a gift like...
