Watch out! It's a nice beach here but what you will get is very rude service!
We rent both kayaks and stand up paddles, the guy checking us in was super friendly but did not give any instructions of which area to stay and which to avoid.
Then when we sail to the left a few times. No body told us it's a jet ski zone. And there is no sign with such messages at all. When we were kayaking on the left side two staffs rode a waster taxi to us and asked us to go right. We thought maybe we can't stay on the left all the time which will block the way of jet skis. So we went kayaking to the right side. When we returned to the beach a few times during 45min of our 1 hour rental, nobody came to tell us we can't kayak from the left side.
But after 45min, when my friends returned to the beach, they got yelled by a tall staff with dreadlock hair: "You are done! You are terminated! I'm done with you!" Then this staff took away their kayak boats and stand up paddle. We tried to explain we didn't understand the complete rules and nobody gave clear instructions. But this staffed refused to listen and yelled:"Keep crying! I'm not listening!" Then he threatened to us that he's going to call the police if we tried again to talk to him. What? You are asking for a police to help you get away your bad customer service?
We then asked for the manager. But the manager was indifferent with the situation. Initially he refused to believe that his staff forgot to explain to us the "rules". Then he insisted even if they forgot to explain in the beginning, his staff warned us three times with clear messages and suggested we were lying.
Come on! what's our incentive to lie! And can you really treat your customers with such bad attitude?! Even after hearing what his staff yelled at us, he still refused to acknowledge that his staff was treating customers with no respect. They refused to refund us for terminated our rental with very rude attitude, and they refused to admit it's a misunderstanding and offer a simple apology. Instead, the manager simply said: "go ahead writing negative reviews. We don't care!"
Are you confortable going to a place treating customers like trash with no respect at...
Read moreFirst time para-sailing and it was a fun activity, however the experience itself had its downsides:
Side note: They do offer photography services (The second staff member being a professional photographer), I have not been able to check the photos yet, but the cost is $60 for still photos, $70 for a GoPro video, or...
Read moreIf you are looking to rent jet skis, I would recommend going elsewhere. I had a terrible experience and am never patronizing this place again.
First, the young man who reviewed the rules for us spoke so quickly that we missed nearly half of what he was saying. He didn’t bother to pause and see if we understood or had any questions.
Second, they don’t allow you to use the jet skis in Emerald Bay. We did so and were chastised when we returned the jet skis. Apparently they track where you jet ski using GPS, without telling you that they do so. They also expect you to stay in the designated jet ski area but do not tell you what that is.
Third, and most annoyingly, they charged me $390 for alleged damage to the front bumper of my jet ski. I did not damage the bumper and told the employee that, but he inferred that I was lying. Word to the wise: make sure you carefully review the paperwork when they do the inspection walk around and be sure to take pictures of the jet ski before you use it. I’m angry that I had to pay $390 for damage I did not cause. Since i signed the paperwork, there wasn’t much I could do but grin and bear it. What a...
