If I could give a zero star I would. My son needed a new cell phone as his iphone10 shattered. He currently goes to school in SLT and I live in Reno. He needed his phone quickly because he is traveling to Los Angeles with his high school sports team. I called at&t SLT and spoke to a young women who who assured me that they had plenty of 10/11/12's in stock. I arrived at the store around 5pm and the young women that I spoke to earlier was sitting at a table with a customer. I was waiting nearby until she finished and she looked up at me and asked if I had a question. I stated that I had called earlier and would like to get a new phone for my son. She responded that I would not be able to walk out of the store with a new phone that day because there is a third party that pays for broken phones. She then turned her attention back to the customer with whom she was helping earlier. I then looked over to another employee(young man) and he asked if he could help me. I stated that I would still like to speak to someone about a phone and he stated that the young women had already answered my question. I asked him if I could buy a new iphone without using my warrantee. He told me that the only iphones they had at the store were pre-pay iphone 11's. No apology no remorse at wasting my time or my money. I had to drive back to Reno and purchase a phone for my son at the Reno at&t store and then back to SLT. 120 extra miles and 3 hours of my time. Employees must be hard to find these days. I put myself through University and medical school working in restaurants, and these two gems that are working at this store are absolute bottom of the barrel when it comes to customer service and empathy.    Read moreThis is the 2nd time we have been to this AT&T store to upgrade a phone. Both times, we had unauthorized plan upgrades and add on features added to our account. Most recently, we went to this store on 12/15/24 to purchase a new phone, which was delivered to our home. All I paid at the store on 12/15/24 were taxes. I then received the 1st bill with the new phone on it, and the bill increased $104.00. I ended up calling AT&T customer service and they said there was a plan upgrade to premium (most expensive of course), on all of our lines, a Next Up add on to the new phone, ($10.00 per month), and our auto pay discount was removed after being on the account for years. I don't recall the reps name at the store, he was friendly and all, but seeing unauthorized charges on our bill is not acceptable. The next time we need to purchase a new phone, we will do it...

If you choose AT&T your service will never work, nobody can help you get the service you paid for to work, you can’t get a refund, you will be screwed. You will end up speaking to someone in Asia 3 times a week for 30 minutes at a time having them run troubleshooting that will never work ! You will get new SIM cards and your service will still not work ! You will get a new phone and your service will still not work. The only way your service will work is if you go to Verizon !
