This may be known as the oldest bookstore in Oregon but it has so much more to offer. The staff there are very polite and the owner is a real gentlemen. It's dog friendly and you can find a wide variety of literature there. I love the quaint feel and the mixture of new, used and vintage books. The staff is always very attentive but not pushy. I can always find something I love their even when I'm just browsing. I've bought anything from the Hunger Games to books on Quantum Physics. If for some reason they don't have they are always willing to order it for me. Oh and they give out free bookmarks! You just have to love supporting a small business...

Pretty much every time I've ever been in the store they've had a decent sized section dedicated to local authors and things that to do with the region.
