My experience here was an absolute letdown, especially given how expensive dining out is these days. With only one other customer (waiting for takeout), we waited over an hour for our food. Customer service was nonexistent—servers were too busy setting up for a band to bother with us. We had to fetch our own beers and drinks, and they were out of nearly everything we ordered. The food was dreadful: burgers were burnt, fries were overcooked, and my veggie quesadilla was charred—I could’ve made a better one at home. When we raised our concerns with the owner, she offered nothing but excuses, no discounts, or solutions, underscoring their appalling lack of customer service. My parents have been going here for a while, but it was my first visit, a rare treat out with my new baby, was a complete disaster. With food costs so high, splurging on a meal out should feel special, not leave you regretting the money spent when you could’ve bought groceries and stayed home. Save your money and...

Hands down my favorite place in the Gorge!!! Best beer selection ever - rotating taps mean you can always try something new! All the beers are local to the Pacific Northwest/West Coast, and they don't compete with the local breweries down the street, but rather encourage you (AFTER your visit of course! Lol!) to go into those businesses and try their beers in person. The food is super tasty and based on family recipes and employee creations, with weekly cocktail, soup, entree and dessert specials! The owners are usually on site and happy to visit with you and share about the town, and they have weekly events almost every night of the week, plus special events throughout the month. They are truly providing something that is missing in so many small towns, and with their big hearts and open minds I'm positive you too will find something to love...

We’ve enjoyed live music here several times and enjoyed the artistic steam punk atmosphere and amazing service! As a celiac, I never expect to be able to eat at a bar. I can eat off the whole salad menu here and there’s some great salads on there that are hearty and delicious! Southwest chicken salad with Jaunitas chips instead of the multi colored ones are celiac safe and yummy. Just let them know you’re celiac and they will work with you if something needs to be altered. Some are totally safe as is. Love the dressings here, and the great service from Johna and Ume.

The owners take great pride in their establishment and will take great care of you. Much of the steampunks art was made by one of the owners!

Please, always remember if an establishment is especially busy they may not be able to accommodate special requests and plan...

This was an unexpected delicious find!! It's just a little place off the main road through The Dalles that's very unassuming, but it had the best reviews so we thought we'd give it a try. The staff is all so friendly and pleasant. I ordered the club sandwich and hubby got the smoky cheeseburger. Both came with potato salad - also delicious. We both got the craft root beer. The taste of both sandwiches were great but a little on the small side. The root beer was delicious, though not as fizzy as regular canned or fountain drinks. That was ok, just pointing out the details. Most of the food is made from scratch, which was a plus! Service was relatively fast and there was plenty of seating. We would definitely eat here again.

An absolutely amazing stop! The history off the building as well as history of every detail of the decor inside is incredible. The owners designed and created an atmosphere that invites you the moment you open the door. The staff are very knowledgeable and so kind. We stopped for a drink and glanced at the menu, a large variety of house made items are included. I included a photo of the gears behind the bar…they work, all were humming along!! Please seek out this spot, you will not regret it!!!
