Bath & Body Works — Attraction in Town of Hempstead

I stopped in in October, looking for a fragrance I had seen there in September but didn't purchase at the time. The assistant manager, a guy, informed me they had boxed up the remaining merch and sent it to a warehouse but would be back for semi annual sale in December and if I liked I could call right before the sale so they could set it aside for me. I returned to the store a few days before the sale and a staffer confirmed it was indeed back in their stock room. She asked the head store manager if she could pull it from for me but the manager said no, I can't do anything now you will have to check back with the morning of the sale. So..I called before the store even opened that morning only to be told they did not have that product. I explained to the girl who answered the phone that another associate and a manger confirmed that you do have it. She then said, we do but it's not on the floor yet. Ok... so...don't tell me you don't have it, tell me you do and it's not on the floor yet. I don't understand why a store like BBW who is so above and beyond in their customer service standard was so reluctant to accommodate me it just makes no sense to me at all. Really dissapointed in this...

The store is a nice layout and nice employees. I just feel when i got the register i tried to use a 20% coupon that i had an email for it was for online and pick up i told the associate that it was not working online and asked if i can use it at the store and she got her supervisor i guess and she didnt even try to help me she just said well you can use it online and pick it up here, i said it was not working she said oh and that was it ahe walked away the cashier said she is sorry she was friendly but the supervisor could of been little more atentive i feel i shop at bath and body works all the time would it of been so bad to let me have the 20% off i eould of actually then bought something else i will not go to that...

This is a nice place to shop at. The layout is nice and the products are neatly packed. I also like the section designated for the candles (White Barn) it gives the area a different yet warm atmosphere. In that section, it feels as though you are in a place lit only by the candles themselves. It is really nice.

The associates are very professional and friendly. You can easily ask them for assistance and they won't hesitate to help you. If items are on sale, they will let you know. Additionally, they would even encourage you to buy and try products. The deals are good too.
