Darling Nails — Attraction in Tukwila

DO NOT COME HERE! Now I believe everyone have bad days! But this cut the straw for me! Last time I was there before 5/23/24, it was as almost a year, It’s since 2023 cause they did so bad. So I gave them a break. Fast forward to 5/23/24! I booked an appointment on and none busy day. The picture I showed was SIMPLE! All I asked was change my he colors to; BLUE, WHITE KEEP THE GOLD FLAKES! If you can’t do it get as close as possible. I had a few nails pop off at work the night before. The ones I had left on my right the RIPPED, PLUCKED the remaining Nails off with an unused fake nail! I kept saying ouch that hurts. I kept yanking hand. The. She took the drills blasted the rest of my nails on my right hand off while I kept saying it’s hot! Slow down. Then she goes to the left hand and I finally said “LETS SAVE MY LEFT HAND FINGERNAIL BED, BY SOAKING THEM OFF PLEASE”. She says ok then grabs the drill and DRILL TILL IT’S ALMOST OFF! Then put foil cotton balls n soaked them. All of that is just girl number one abusing me.

4: it only gets worse after that. Lady number two who finished ABUSING ME! Took me over to her station, which is the first one on your right right next to the sign in sheet where they answer the phone when you walk in the door! Takes her drill out and drill the Devil out of my hand! 5: i’m constantly yanking my hand telling her it hurts, kept telling her the drill is too hot on my hand. All they did was smile and said sorry. 6: I went to her because the first picture that I posting is what I wanted just changed the colors to blue and white. Keep the gold. I tried telling and showing her the . 7: She just cut me off then says I do something nice and way better for you. You will like. I said ok let show you the and make sure it’s BLUE WHITE AND KEEP THE GOLD FLAKES please or try to get as close as you can to it. 8: She kept doing what ever she wanted no matter how many times I tried to stop her. 9: I got mad and told her she might as well stop. This is not what I asked for. I tried my best to tell you but you wouldn’t listen. I told yall the tools was to hot, fast and stop rushing and hanging and hurting me. There is hardly no business this time of day, matter of fact a NO ONE BUT US IN HERE. I won’t pay for nothing but the set it self you did do the shapes I asked. But that’s it now I have to go somewhere else for them to finish what you did. Not that the nails aren’t done on the inside. You all asked why I haven’t seen me in a long time since 2023. Because this is yall third or fourth time in row that yall messed up. 10: She said sorry and offered to do them 5/24/24 while still charging me $80 for the ABUSIVE UNFINISHED NONE FINAL COAT HAVING NAILS. I usually don't write reviews, AND I've been going to Darling Nails exclusively for the last 3 years (spotty I just had a baby within the last year) but this last experience sucked.

I called and made reservation for a shellac manicure. When I arrived I was seen right away. The space, receptionist, colors, all are what get the 2 stars. Who did my nails ruined the experience.

She rushed. When I sat down a lady next to me was already sat and my whole manicure was completed before her. I arrived at 5:45, was out by 6:15 (just felt rushed/ could tell the lady next to me was receiving more care/depth) I actually watched my nail tech fake a few brush strokes when applying color? She also didn't speak to me until right before I was finished. She asked "you work today" when I responded no ITS ACTUALLY MY BIRTHDAY she laughed at me and asked if I was working tomorrow? What?

The lotion and massage literally was 10 seconds. I applied more lotion myself. There was still polish and sealant stuck on my fingers I sat and peeled off myself.

What the heck guys? The worst experience. Like I mentioned I've been going here for years, even had a lady massage me extra when I came in super pregnant right before birth. This was not it. I actually cried cause of the wack job on my birthday.

I probably won't return anytime soon.. and if so I'll be avoiding that front station or asking for another tech.

UPDATED Now that I get to see the response from the owner that made me judge down even more. Nobody contacted me or anything, not that I’m expecting it but just don’t lie just so it looks like you’re resolving it.

ORIGINAL The place is beautiful, well-organized. The manager made us feel more than welcomed and everybody is friendly. But that doesn’t help the quality of service they provide.

We got Gentle Pedicure $45. It came with all the basic care, callus removal, sugar scrub, hot stones, massage, paraffin wax. The guy tech that did my pedicure was gentle to one point I think he’s too new. He ignored the callus on my big toe which I think was obvious to see. The sugar scrub took 1 minute, massage took 3 minutes. He went to grab paraffin wax, hot towels and proceeded to soak my feet in the wax then wrap my legs with hot towels. The moment he finished with wrapping the hot towels, he removed the paraffin wax right away??? So the wax stayed on my foot for about 1 minute, same as the hot towels. The owner can check the camera if you want to clarify timing.

No where have I ever been to have a pedicure that the treatment doesn’t look rush because he’s super slow, but nothing feels like a treatment.

Worse than all of this, my toe got painted horribly. If it’s just a bad egg, please get rid of it instead of playing with people’s time and money. If he needs practices, go to...
