Without question the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had! I was booked for a 13 night stay on account of working in the area, upon arrival and checking in, I unloaded my luggage, got changed and went to check in with the company I was in town working for. When I returned I had ants covering my nightstands, the wet bar counter top, and even several on the bed! After killing as many as possible, I went to the front desk to inform them of the infestation

.. instead of moving me, they suggested that they spray instead because its been an ongoing issueđŸ˜±. Reluctantly I agreed and left to dinner under the impression that my room was being rid of the ant gang. When I returned it smelled like repellent and I didn’t initially see and living ants, however I’m no noticing that clearly it’s been an issue because there’s smashed ants on the walls, ceiling, and even the doors. I went to bed and woke up to ants in the top of my comforter! I got dressed for work, and when I left, all three elevators were out of order. So after taking six flights to the front desk to report the ant issue, I was informed that it wouldn’t be a good idea to move because of the elevator issue, but they would spray again while I was at work. I went for this for another two days, same type of interactions! Eventually, they got two of the elevators working, and I was moved to a different room. That room I never found any ants, however, the bathroom and shower were filthy. I was never offered anything but lies and arrogant attitude. I left five dollars for a tip and a note to housekeeping three days in a row to re-fill my shower gel, three days in a row the tip was gone, but the shower gel remained empty. I thought Ashton Kutcher was gonna pop out at any time and I was really bout to be on an episode of punk’d! They did have a great and friendly breakfast staff and decent breakfast omelettes, and a could nice bartenders in the evenings, I will say that was good!

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Poor Service, Filthy Rooms, and No Accountability We arrived at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Tacoma International Airport on Wednesday, July 30th for a family reunion that was being hosted there. You would think the treatment would be phenomenal given the occasion—but it was the complete opposite. First, on arrival, our room was filthy. The bathroom was even worse—filled with mildew and other sanitary concerns. We arrived late, so we decided to address it first thing the next morning. We emailed photos immediately, yet not a single person responded or offered a remedy. It wasn’t until my husband and I went back down to the front desk ourselves that they refunded us for that night. We moved to a new room, only to have that room flood. With such a huge inconvenience—and considering we had booked multiple rooms for our group—you would think the hotel would make an effort to accommodate us better. They didn’t. I’ve been trying to reach corporate with no remedy. The general manager, whom I spoke with in person right after the incident, has done nothing. No response to my emails, no follow-up, and no acknowledgment of the incident report I filled out. I was even told before leaving that the damages to our belongings from the flood would be “taken care of.” Weeks later—still nothing. Now I’m stuck wasting an enormous amount of time playing phone and email tag with people who should want to make this right if they truly stand by Hilton’s principles and philosophies. Instead, we paid for a flooded room, suffered damage to our belongings, and received zero accountability. This was my first trip to Seattle, my birthday weekend, and a special trip my husband planned. The accommodations severely interfered with the excitement and memories we hoped to make. I will never support another Hilton after this experience.

I have stayed at this location 3 times so far. I don't have the flexibility that I would like to have when staying in the area due to having to book my stays with Concur for my employer.

This has been a rocky experience each time and this one was especially frustrating.

We have had no hot tub for the time we've stayed. We picked this hotel within my limits for the hot tub for muscle recovery when working harder days for my health needs.

This has been exacerbated by the experience having the elevators stop working, getting stuck on the third floor. It wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't for the experiences I had following the problem. The elevator issues made me late for work due to the delays in getting up and down. When they weren't working I ended up having to use the fire escape stairwell by the kitchen. I also have my wife and children here. My wife is 7 months pregnant and the elevator issue added to her difficulties as she has some shortness of breath from pregnancy.

Getting back up was also delayed as I couldn't get back up the stairs.

Following those issues I spoke with the woman at the front desk in the evening when I returned from a 12 hour shift to express my concerns as no notices or anything have been posted about one of the elevator cars being disabled. My concerns were associated with potential for more issues tomorrow as we have luggage for four people and can't use a cart to leave if there are problems again.

The surprise I had was with the lady named Maggie who was immediately irritated that I began to inquire about the elevator and my concerns. She said "No one else has complained about the elevators this morning." I told her there was a staff member trying to get the doors to open, and they were aware in the morning. She said "No one said anything and all the elevators are working." I said well, one of them has not been operational all day and night (Car 3). She proceeded to say "I'm not a liar".I said well I'm not either. I'm just trying to express my concerns. She raised her voice and said "You'll have to talk to him, he's my manager. There is nothing wrong with the elevators." So I spoke to the manager, who was more polite, he took down my room number and concerns, and a phone number and said he would have someone follow up and call.

About 30 minutes or so later I got a call and the person who called said that the car was shut down. There was a problem, and multiple reports were made just after 6 am about the elevator problems.

The experience was not great, and there are other things that stand out that just limit this location from being good.

The furniture in the lobby is well worn and in some cases coming apart.

The electrical wiring in the fountain for lights is coming off the fountain and there is just a lack of care for this place.

I will say, the evening bar crew are really nice, and probably what keeps your reviews from diving. Trouble is I don't drink and neither does my wife, so the free drinks in the evening aren't propping up my experience. Side note, in the morning when we asked the bar for a cup of ice water, we were told that it was $1.50 plus tax.

This place needs serious management review, and staff need to be less confrontational. I'm not sure with even my limited company options that I will continue to stay here in the future. (I travel to Seattle most months once or...

Over the weekend, my family and I stayed in this hotel that I had booked through expedia. We get there, check in to one room, stay our night and leave. to my surprise two days later my card is charged for the price of two rooms. At first it’s just pending so I let i go through to see if it actually posts or if it’s a mistake, when it goes through I call to see what’s up.

I do just want to preface, As someone who has always worked in customer service, I will never have a mean bone in my body to other service workers no matter how much attitude i’m given, lol.

Anyways, I get on the phone with a lady and I first ask her to confirm what my final charges should be for my stay, and she says the price of the one room. Ok, great! I have a charge for the price of a second room. She then tells me it looks like when I made the booking I booked two rooms. I explained that I only booked one room through expedia, and was only checked into one room. She informs me again, that I had two bookings. At this point I do see on my expedia it says two rooms. I tell her when I checked in I was not informed I had a second booking and I was not checked into a second room. she goes well let me look at the cancellation policy. So we sit in silence for a few minutes and I finally go, look, if at the time of check in I was informed I had two bookings and was checked into two rooms I would’ve just paid it no problem because that is my fault. But I wasn’t even checked into the second room. And she goes

“Well when you make a booking YOU are responsible for what you book”

I said again that I did not realize I had booked two rooms and reiterated that had I been booked into two rooms I would not be on the phone right now. She then tells me she’ll give me a one time courtesy refund. I thanked her for her time and told her I appreciated her helping me.

It did not seem like she wanted to be helping me and I think as soon as we realized that I was not booked into a second room a refund should’ve been issued without the back and forth.

Another weird thing to note is, I never actually got a bill for the second room. I got an itemized bill with the final total of the first room. I’m assuming, that part of the reason I was charged automatically was because it showed as a cancellation i’m sure. I just think it’s odd to charge someone for a room you didn’t check them into, but can see that they did stay at your hotel.

On the flip side, I do know I should’ve payed more attention to my booking, and will be very diligent in the future to avoid this. I’ve never had any issues with expedia, so i’m not sure if this was third party or hotel error. I have really enjoyed staying at embassy in the past, and will continue to do so but i don’t know that i’d return to this particular one.

Edited to add: Reading some of the reviews it sounds like they have had only one working elevator for awhile. As of 11/23/24 there is only one working elevator, there were a few times you’re waiting quite a while for an elevator so just keep that in...

This was my first time booking at this hotel and my experience wasn’t as great as I expected it to be. I checked in Saturday night and check out Monday. I booked for a pool session on a Sunday at 3pm. Becky the front desk lady was awfully rude to me because I had 12 people booked and she was yelling at me if all 12 people were registered to the room. If I had known that I wouldn’t have booked the session. Nobody was in the pool the schedule was wide open because it was Sunday and a quiet night. I had book the biggest room there and explaining to her that the kids were already ready to swim and if I had known this ahead of time I wouldn’t have got them excited to swim. She did say she will give us 30 minutes. I said ok and then the kids got in the pool, right after the 30 minutes she rudely tells me they need to GET OUT NOW!! I told her ok and to calm down. I go to the pool and sat down next to my sister letting her know it’s time to get the kids out. Becky comes right in my personal space and in my face “YOU ARE GETTING COMFORTABLE I NEED THEM OUT RIGHT NOW” I was so frustrated and embarrassed I told her to back up because I am telling my sister to grab the kids. I understand the policy but she handled this so rudely and so poorly!! I felt offended and profiled, she had made a comment saying “BECAUSE PEOPLE LIKE YOU BRING OUTSIDE PEOPLE TO SWIM” I felt so offended!!!!! I will never book this hotel ever again. My whole stay there was awkward and felt unwanted and Not welcomed. Through out the situation with the pool she will not stop talking to me so rudely, yelling and rolling her eyes every time I was speaking to her. Even after I apologized she was RUDE rolling her eyes and mentioning that she did me a favor and I need to get out the pool. Prior to this situation I called downstairs for toilet paper and towels because we had the room for 2 nights, I waited for an hour and no toilet paper or towels, my daughter needed to use the bathroom so I had to go downstairs and ask them for it again. Monday check out was at 12pm, at 10am someone opens our door then shuts it real quick and it scared my daughter thinking someone was trying to break in. The breakfast was good, the bartender lady during happy hour was very nice and welcoming. After Becky’s shift was over I asked the front desk lady if my kids can swim since Becky ruined their fun in the pool, the lady was so nice and told me yes and that it’s a really quite Sunday night. I had 5 of my kids swim for 2 hours and was relieved that they got to get their pool time to make our stay worth it. All I have to say is I felt super uncomfortable and unwelcome because Becky did not handle this situation very well & was very RUDE!! I wanted to check out early because of the energy she was giving. My stay could’ve been good but I’m sorry to say, I would give my stay a 1 star for the poorly costumer service I...
