My wife, two young children, and I stayed at the Comfort Suites Airport Tukwila Seattle the night of Tuesday, August 8, 2023. We had an awesome stay! The rooms are large, clean, and cool. We kept the AC fired up to a near-icy level and loved it. The beds are a little firm but the pillows are comfortable. The hotel grounds and the lobby are inviting and well taken care of. Our reason for staying in the area was a Mariners game. We took advantage of the hotel’s free shuttle to take us to SeaTac to ride the light rail to T-Mobile Park. We took the light rail back to SeaTac after the game and the hotel came and picked us up. This free service was much appreciated and our shuttle driver was kind and considerate. The complimentary breakfast was impressive. They host it in a nice room and offer waffles, eggs, bacon, cereal, muffins, bagels, juices, coffee, and so much more. What value! The pool and hot tub area doesn’t disappoint. Before we checked out, we swam in the pool and soaked in the hot tub for about 90 minutes. We had a ton of fun! I am still giving Comfort Suites 5 stars but the one issue we had was with our room shower/bath tub. The pressure wasn’t the best and the drain didn’t function properly resulting in water remaining in the tub. But besides that, we loved our stay and will certainly be back.

For those who want a short read: poor customer service and the hotel looks like lipstick was put on a pig. For those who want the full story, our experience with the front desk staff was unsatisfactory. They were not well trained in how to check guests in or in how to communicate in a professional manner. They got the job done for our one night stay but it was bumpy. We took the hotel shuttle to the airport. The gal taking us was delightfully sweet; however, when we were departing her coworker Justin came running after the moving vehicle nearly getting himself run over. He then proceeded to pound on the van and yell at the sweet driver. I have never seen something like this in a public setting and was flabbergasted at his behavior. It made everyone in the van very uncomfortable. (This is what prompted me to write a review!) As for the hotel itself, it could use better maintenance by trained individuals as it appears subpar repairs have been done nearly everywhere one looks. The furnishings in the hotel were worn out. The experience was not all bad as this hotel has a great pool for families. The shallow end starts at 9".

Check in was rough. Instead of being greeted and welcomed they immediately looked at my debit card that and said "they don't take prepaid cards, especially for large rooms. " I used this same card at many Comfort Inns and other hotels with no issues. Its the card I booked the reservation with.. Once I moved money to another debit card, (?!?! why would they accept one and not the other? Both visa!) the "large" room was dirty with crumbs and candy on the ground, and something splashed all over the master bedrooms door and a dirty TV tray on the bed. They did apologize and move us to another room. The pool was nice. Hot tub was broken. I'd already decided I wouldn't stay here again even though the location is great, when we went to grab a small plate of breakfast to eat on the go and saw signs forbidding guests to take food to their room or out of the breakfast area at all. I've never seen a hotel do this...let alone one near an airport with people who have flights to catch.

Hello,

I love this place. Why? SEE BELOW!

-I booked my reservation via phone call the lady that helped me was very nice and she answered all my concerns and questions. I got the best deal for staying 4 nights I received 15% discount.

-I extended my stay for another day and there was no issue.

-I called the front desk when I arrived at Seatac airport and she gave me an instruction on how to locate the "Courtesy Vehicles area at the airport for shuttle pick up" then she told me to give them a call after I find it and it will only take 10-15 mins to be pick up it depends sometimes it will take 20-30 mins. Shuttle driver came and helped me with my luggage and very friendly as well.

-When I arrived at the hotel. I asked the front desk where the near bus stop she said it was only 2 mins walk. She mentioned pool hour and free breakfast.

-The hotel is behind the Family Fun Center

-Water available and coffee in the lobby and can get your water refill at the Gym room.

-All the areas in the Hotel were clean. It felt so safe. And NO shady people.

-The room is clean. Good working AC. There are so many storage available. They provided so many towels. Closet room is available. TV is big. So many lights and outlets. Floors were clean. Fridge has a small freezer. Microwave is small but heats up good. Trash bins available everywhere. Couch was very clean.

-Free shuttle to the airport and pick up and sometimes they will drop me of at Tukwila Int'l Blvd Light Rail Station.

-Employees were friendly, personable and hardworkers specially Marjorie and Angie and all the guys were nice too.

-Hot tub spa and Indoor pool open from 8am to 10pm.

-Computer were available for guest to be used. Printer was low on ink. But I got my paper printed at the front desk. Just need to email them the file.

-Ice vending machine on second floor.

-Laundry room on 1st Floor.

-Close to the mall - Westfield South Center

CONS

-Blow dryer was installed on the wall but it doesn't work

-My room run out of scent plug. so, it wasn't smelling very great everytime I open the door.

-Bed is okay

-I had a hard time opening the window

-Sink faucet not the best it takes me forever to wash my face

-The indoor pool is just so loud not very relaxing specially when kids scream.

-Indoor pool was green and cloudy. I wasn't sure how often they clean it.

-The deepest...

I was traveling with my pre-teen daughters and my mom joined me for the last two days. rooms were very spacious for a hotel, they had both a counter with an actual mini-fridge and a real freezer, microwave and a desk with chair. We easily had space to have two large suitcases and a small one open for daily use. Beds were comfortable, they had both firm and soft pillows, good blankets. Sofa bed wasn't great, my 10yr old could really feel the bar, but that's not surprising heat pump did a good job of providing heat and a/c as needed staff were all cheerful and helpful. housekeeping was Awesome! They came every day and fully made up the room, one day, when we were still in the room they asked if we needed anything and they were very nice answering questions.. free breakfast was ok. The scrambled eggs were ok, on alternating days they had a premade omelet type egg that wasn't great. Breakfast potatoes weren't great but they did have either bacon or sausage each day. Two waffle irons and both regular batter plus blueberry batter. We loved having the whipped cream for our waffles. As a diabetic I would have liked sugar free syrup or peanut butter but the whipped cream did the trick for me. They had a fridge with hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and other items plus muffins, bagels, etc. Juices and good ice water. We were full every day. The lady stocking the breakfast room was very sweet and attentive. plenty of parking, I never felt unsafe, one day I left at 3:45am to drop my daughter at the airport, another day we came back late at night and I had no safety concerns. location was great, we were there for medical appointments in the area but it was an easy drive to lots of food options, Trader Joe's, etc. we were next to a busy road but didn't hear any noticable road noise. We were on floor 3, which was a quiet floor for day sleepers and it was fairly quiet the venture time. we had planned to swim but we were to tired every evening but we did walk down for a few minutes and the pool was clean and had plenty of seats and pool towels. I'm somewhat picky and I would definitely...

We had very nice stay at the Comfort Suites Tukwila. The shuttle pickup from the airport was great after a long day of travel and time change. We did have trouble with the card reader on our door on the 4th floor at the furthest point from the front desk. After I left my wife in the hallway with our luggage and went down to get new cards and they didn't work either, I called down and the staff member came up himself with new cards and when they didn't work either, he went back down and then called me and told me to meet him at a different room on the 3rd floor. It was a little frustrating when tired, but they took care of it promptly.|| The pool is beautiful and my wife enjoyed it. The breakfast is great with lots of choices, including homemade oatmeal, which you don't see often. There is a Subway next door.||The nearest bus stop is an easy 5 minute or so walk via a paved path that goes behind the strip center next door. It was hard to find using Google Maps walking directions, but once we did, it was easy. The bus is the easiest way to get downtown. Order an Orca card for $3 and then load it with $8 day passes and you can ride any bus, light rail, monorail and I think even some ferries all day. A great way to see Seattle and much cheaper than staying downtown. We stayed for 3 nights before our cruise. However, it did cost us about $100 to get to Pier 91 cruise ship terminal via Lyft. There might be cheaper ways to do that, like taking the free shuttle back to the airport and then taking light rail from there, but Lyft/Uber was by far the easiest way to get there. And if you stayed closer to Pier 91, you'd have to figure out your transportation from the airport. Probably 6 to one, half-dozen...
