Hair removal on my face was the best decision I've ever made for myself. I've always struggled with having hair on my face as a kid and now as a woman. It's always been super annoying and definitely embarrassing.I've tried nair, shaving,waxing tweezing and threading. It would work for maybe 5 days and come right back. It would also leave bad scaring under my chin which made me self conscious. After looking for a more permanent method I came across Lazer away in Walnut Creek. Lazer away is so welcoming and professional. The ladies who work there listen to you and they are very caring. I've been 2 times and each time was great. Great customer service and really nice sweet staff. And I already see results after my second session. Lily is awesome! I almost chickened out on getting the removal done but Lily reassured me that it would be life changing and that Everything would be fine and that I would love my results. She was absolutely Right. So thank you Lily. The front desk staff Liana is super sweet and awesome She helped me book my future appointments because they are usually always booked. So thank you Liana for being so considerate! Last but definitely not least..My doctor Samantha is totally super duper awesome! She is very professional,Sweet caring and so much fun! She takes her time with the sessions, never made me feel rushed. We talk so much in our small period of time together and she even remembered our last conversation we had on my 1st session. I'm saying this to say She has a good memory for her clients. I'm probably one out of 100 and she remembered everything. That's a great feeling. It's rare to get the same doctor when you go so I'm very thankful that I was able to work with you both times. Thank you Samantha!! My overall experience is An A+ I highly recommended anyone male or female struggling with embarrassing facial hair to try them out. It's definitely life changing. I have no more facial hair issues. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY'S SERVICES!!! I started treatment at laser away a few months ago. I was getting hair removed and had two sessions. After my second session, I followed all the procedures for post-care I was told, yet my legs started to swell up and break out in hives. That night I could not sleep from the pain and itching, then my legs started to go numb, which is when I went to the emergency room. There, they gave me strong medicine to help with the hives and told me that my legs were burned due to the laser being too high. Three weeks later, the swelling is down, but I still have light red blotches on my legs, which may never go away. I have been trying to get a refund for my treatments which the company has been avoiding. I have called about 4 times a week for the past 3 weeks and they just keep saying that someone will contact me within 24 hours--yet they never do. One operator told me that they will not refund me even for the treatments I have not gotten, even though I was told I can be refunded for treatments not received before I started getting treatments with them. Overall, this company is out to get money and has little to no care about its patients. I was so excited to finally remove my body hair, yet I now have blotches on my skin that may be there for the rest of my life. If I could give negative starts I would, DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I’ve been a loyal LaserAway customer for over 6 years, but I left today’s appointment feeling disappointed and frustrated.

I had a Clear + Brilliant session scheduled for 10:30 AM, with 30 minutes of numbing beforehand. I arrived early, around 10:22, and was brought into the numbing room at 10:34. I was told my nurse would see me at 11:00 AM.

By 11:18, no one had come to get me, and there were no updates. I had to return to the front desk to ask what was going on, and the receptionist simply said, “She’ll be there soon.” My treatment didn’t actually begin until 11:30.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve experienced delays here, but what made today worse was the complete lack of communication or even a simple apology from the staff who told me the nurse would be ready at 11:00. It really feels like our time as clients isn’t valued. LaserAway is very strict about clients being late or missing appointments, yet they don’t seem to apply that same standard to their own scheduling.

My nurse was great and did apologize, saying she wasn’t even aware of the delay. I appreciate her professionalism, and that’s the main reason I’m giving 3 stars instead of 1. I hope this feedback helps improve communication and scheduling for...
