Shoe Dept. Encore — Attraction in Wilkes-Barre Township

I came in this weekend to find a new pair of shoes. One shoe in particular that was on display really appealed to me and fit perfectly, but I wasn't able to find the match/box for that specific shoe. Nothing was organized. So I asked one of the workers for help. The skinny white girl with dark hair tried her absolute best to help me... until the manager started yelling at her to get back to the register. Very unprofessional on the manager's part, and I felt so bad for the girl who was helping me because she actually seemed to care/wanted to help. So I asked the man with a dark beard and dark hair who was also "working" there for assistance instead. What a mistake! He literally looked and sounded like he was high. When I asked him for help, he seemed completely uninterested in his job. He disappeared in the back for a solid 20 minutes only to come out with bloodshot eyes and heavy eyelids, while answering with a sleepy/dazed tone "yeah sorry, can't find it." I genuinely don't think he even looked, more like he just took a Bob Marley break (if you know what I mean puff puff cough cough) I can say a lot more... But I'll refrain from doing so. All I know is that I will never come back to this shoe...

Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional conduct from the staff, who refused to assist and carelessly threw my bag at me to indicate that the receipt had fallen off. It feels as though I have just made a contribution to the store, and when I inquired if the staff member was alright due to her poor behavior, she responded that it was because it was late and near closing time, despite there being an hour and a half until closing. I have spent hundreds of dollars in this establishment before, but today marks the last time I will spend any money here. I will not tolerate this kind of treatment towards my pregnant wife and myself.

I walked in looked for shoes in my size for over 10 minutes. No one ever came over to ask me if I needed assistance. I looked over to the girls at the register. One was in denim overalls sitting on the counter scrolling though her phone and twirling her hair. She actually did make eye contact. The other girl standing leaning her back on the counter also scrolling on her phone. I was so annoyed at this point . They couldn’t even be bothered to say have a nice night or something .
