Williams Public Library — Attraction in Williams

I stopped by to perform a 1st amendment audit. The staff was curtious and professional. One lady did ask me to stop recording, but after a short discussion, she understood that it is our right to record in public and let me go on my way. I didn't record anybody in public, just the building and services offered.

This was during the holiday season, and they did have a bunch of festive decorations up, which was fun to look at. They have a good selection of books and other materials. They also have a section of free books and magazines for the public to take, which were most likely donated. The library was very clean and offered a nice relaxing atmosphere for the public to enjoy the services they offer. I LOVE the Williams Library! I’ve been going there for two years now. I was pleasantly surprised the first time I visited. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly, it’s very clean and organized, and the selections are impressive. Nice, young, and friendly librarian. Super helpful. UPDATE: There was an unfriendly and rude librarian for many years. Actually asked me why I had been using the library's WiFi for 2 hours. I just stopped going there, period. Finally she retired and we got an upbeat, nice friendly super helpful young librarian. Unfortunately she was fired for ordering the 'wrong' type of books.
