Market Basket — Attraction in Woburn

I’m a visitor here and so far my impression of customer service here is less than satisfactory. It seems like every place I go. It hurts people to just say hello and where I am from which is in the same country. It is standard to greet your customer without your customer, you have no paycheck. So I’m in Market Basket today my first time at this particular one my cashier’s name is Princess spelled. Prynssess. She was hardly a princess. She was very rude. She did not greet me. She ran all my groceries up and my total came to $34.19 I said I have the $.19 cause I do not want all that change. She completely disregarded what I said. Gave me the change but not only that she threw it in my hand. And when I said, did that make you feel better because you were already rude by not greeting me you wanted to take it a step further by throwing my change in my hand when I didn’t do anything to deserve this treatment? She proceeded to look at the person behind me for some sort of confirmation that she wasn’t rude… I called the manager, and the manager was appalled and said that she was going to speak to her on her next work day. Needless to say, I will not be visiting that...

Market Basket was ok. I’m from Florida and I’m used to Publix. Publix is a well stocked awesome supermarket so the bar is high for me.

Market Basket is clean and the employees are friendly. They have a small selection of pet food. They didn’t carry my Blue Wilderness food but I didn’t expect every brand to be there.

They showed chicken thighs on sale but when I asked the butcher for help finding them he wasn’t very helpful. He pointed to the area but didn’t walk over with me to show me where they were. The section he pointed to had the correct sign but was filled with a different product that wasn’t on sale. They didn’t have the chicken thighs. They should have taken the sign down

Overall, it was an ok store but they need to improve the signage a little when they stock the area. Maybe add a few more dog food brands too. I had to order the dog food from Amazon which is why I went there.

On 6/08/24 in the afternoon Cashier 0200559 Nicole Fitzpatrick was being rude and impolite . She was chewing gum while working , no communication with customers at all , she didnt say hello or thank you to customers , greetings are part of cashiers job , she didnt even tell me the total of my purchase . The bagger worked with her was polite , he always commmunicated and said have a good day to customers . What's wrong with the cashiers in this supermarket ? They look angry and rude . The guy worked at Express lane near bakery , I asked him is it ok to check out here?
