For 75 USD per night, and i stayed for 13 nights, these guys are definitely not up to the mark.||I was there for work, and just could take the time to go hunting for new places to stay. But couple of issues i think they can work on:||1. The food menu in room is extremely limited||2. I requested for a discount, which generally every hotel gives if you stay for so long, but they denied directly. Making sure i never come back to be honest.||3. Rooms are old, you can tell. And aircon made noise. I didnt report to the hotel that time, but they need to work on that.||4. I had only one breakfast, which was very basic. Chose to eat out rest of the days.||5. The tuk tuk guy standing outside, who also works in hotel as waiter, took me for a dinner and vanished. I had a tough time getting back. And next day he just turns and and says i got drunk so went home.||6. Absolutely anything you ask the hotel staff to get for you, they will take it as their right to add some premium to it. Not done !||7. its right in front of this park, where on weekends this mass exercise thing happens early in morning with extremely loud blaring music. Can really screw up your sleep.||||Otherwise, rooms are peaceful, staff is friendly and over all clean...
Read moreWe had a great time staying at Regent Park. I was apprehensive at first reading the earlier reviews but when we arrived, i was relieved to see that it was a reasonably good hotel just in front of a park with the view of Royal Palace . We stayed in rm 307 and had a good view. Clean bathrooms and spacious room . We had no complaints about the service. Being vegetarians, we were able to choose what we wanted for breakfast the night before The staff was very accomodating. Tuk tuk drivers were easily available outside the hotel. Some restaurants, tour agency and massage salons at a walking distance even the museum and the royal palace. Nothing was too far away. We were glad we were not staying near the noisy pub area . Our tuk tuk driver stayed with us wherever we went. He even helped to arrange for my sightseeing tours without having to go to the tour agency. No complaints at all- I wud definitely stay at this hotel when i visit Phnom penh again. Thanks for making my stay...
Read moreThe hotel is small with 5 floors and 1 small elevator but located in good location. There's a park opposite to the hotel which is good for morning exercise. It's quiet, nice and clean and staffs are nice and polite. The room is just renovated, look news and clean with the tiny bathroom. What we love most is the basil restaurant that offer tasty Thai food at reasonable price and the soap provided in the bathroom have really nice scent like a rose. The hotel offer 2 free bottle of water and also the free wifi. The airport transfer is provided at 14$ per trip. It's the place that we will stay if we visit...
