A coffee chain that definitely takes pride in their interior design and architecture. The design of the cafe is unique to each outlet and beautiful from both the exterior and interior. Food was inexpensive and coffee was served generously in a large cup despite my order being medium (US$3). Food menu was has a good variety but food was only decent. Shakahuka was too watery and the egg in the egg Benedict was overdone so there was no runny egg.

I would love to shout out to the person who was at the cashier this afternoon and took my order. She welcomed me warmly, recommended me on signature drinks (matcha foam and palm sugar), on its sugar loading (“50% for palm sugar tastes less sweet than normal sugar”), and smoothly understood and delivered on my no-plastic cup request. This made up for an amazing customer experience and I can tell that she was definitely the key element to it!

Even though Brown is a franchise and I just generally dislike them (franchises not Brown) because they tend to lack the distinction and interest of non-franchise places BUT I like the minimalistic and beautiful designs of Brown Coffee shops. This one is particularly beautiful - I stopped by to grab a quick coffee but was taken with the airy, light sort of friendly forest feeling of the place. Lots of different “pockets” of areas too to keep things interesting too.
