My experience on the Scenic Tours of Niagara boat tour at Niagara Falls was nothing short of spectacular! From start to finish, this adventure was a thrilling and awe-inspiring journey that we will remember forever.

We were a group of 5 seniors. When we approached the tour desk in the Embassy Suites Hotel in Niagara Falls, we were told not to use the hop on, hop off bus because of line ups etc and that we should go with Scenic Tours of Niagara. Without asking us, they quoted us in U.S. funds. 4 of our group were Canadian so we thought the price was a lot lower than what it was. We also were not told about an additional NFDF Tax of 8% (in addition to the HST tax of 13%). When taking into consideration the currency exchange and the 2 taxes, it increased the price tremendously. We had already said yes, we would take the tour so we were somewhat shocked. When we boarded the bus, a big sign said it was expected that we pay a gratuity of 20% to the tour guide. I'm not saying it was not a good tour, it was but the gratuity should have been included and the full price should have been shown on a board, up front, with the exchange rate. I just feel people should know up front what the total price would...

Absolutely ripped off for 713 CAD. I am attorney and I can advise that in the states what happened to me would be illegal. I bought 3 tickets for what i was told was a 4 hour tour. I showed up with my two sisters and we were told we had time to look around while the bus driver went to get our boat tickets we went to the restroom and then came back to the meeting area and the bus had left. We begged for boat tickets and even have proof from our photo of the parking lot and iphone tracking that we were only gone for 9 mins. We asked them if we could reschedule for another time or even just do the boat under the falls portion of the tour and they declined. What made matters even worse is that we were told the price for the tours I purchased were an ALL DAY price not just 4 hours. We were ripped off and scammed.
