Greenview Manor Luxury Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake

Often it is the case that due to courtesy ratings the best houses on Tripadvisor are often not the really best houses on site.|The exuberantly good reviews for Donnas and Asims Greenview Manor we therefore considered a bit skeptical at first, but were then all the more positively surprised on site - we were allowed to experience perfection from the accommodation to the hosts to the location of the house! It started with that was even before we arrived via Whatsapp from Donna and Asim were informed of the main details. Our request for very good restaurant tips was also answered in advance by the two. When we arrived in the pretty town of Niagara-on-the-Lake and the beautiful, well-kept very nice, quiet and directly at the golf course, which is surrounded by a garden full of flowering plants, we were warmly welcomed by both hosts already in the parking lot. The luggage was taken from us and brought to the room. We just had to check in with Donna in a matter of seconds, who also provided us with a map of the area, a brochure about the wineries in the area and recommendations on wineries and sights.|We only know such a “hands free arrival” from good 5-star houses and indeed a lot reminded us of Leading Hotels of the World standard during our stay. Our Olivia suite was beautiful and very tastefully decorated, and the photos really correspond to what you will find on site. It consists of 2 rooms, a large entrance area with sofa, fireplace, coffee table, TV, refrigerator, a table with coffee machine (with always refilled coffee supply and chocolate) and a wardrobe. The entrance adjoins a large bedroom with desk. The bedroom opens out onto a large private terrace that merges into the pretty garden, which even has a small stream and a koi carp pond. Nothing was missing in the bathroom, even the amenities to make-up pads were 5-star level. Bed linen and mattress were of selected excellent quality. At guests' leisure there are also always enough bottles of filtered water and ice cubes. In the afternoon a delicious piece of cake in the room. A whisper-quiet and very easy to regulate air conditioning we even (for us quite atypical) ran through at night. Private parking is available for each suite. Bicycles also provide Donna and Asim. Greenview Manor is a wonderful 5-star property with perfect hosts, nothing is missing to feel completely well...

This was our first time staying at Greenview Manor B&B and it certainly will not be our last. We’ve tried to book this beautiful little B&B for the past couple of years but not much luck because most of their guests return each year - and who book well in advance. This time we were proactive and planned our Shaw tickets and booked early, and the extra effort was worth it! We’ve been visiting NOTL for well over 25 years and can’t believe we only recently came across Greenview – best kept secret! This experience at Greenview was the perfect balance of staying at a quaint B&B but with the charm and privacy of a small boutique hotel (this is not your average B&B). From the moment we booked our reservation, Donna was in contact with us right away with an introduction and offering to answer any questions or assistance. When we arrived we were completed charmed by the serenity and beauty of the property, and Donna and Asim were waiting to warmly welcome us. We noticed right away how well maintained the property is – inside and out, everything is spotless and all the work managed and done by this lovely couple. What sets Greenview apart from other B&B’s/hotels is not just the amazing location, the spacious and private beautiful suites each with it’s own outdoor space, but the owners who exude sincere warmth and care. The subtle attention to detail throughout the rooms and the property is evident. We enjoyed sitting on our private deck each evening with a glass of wine enjoying the sound of the koi pond and the twinkle of the lights as the sun slowly set. And breakfast at the golf club restaurant each morning was fantastic, lovely views, friendly staff and the flexibility to eat at our desired time was perfect. We have stayed at many top notch properties in our travels, and Greenview is definitely amongst the best in our experience. To ensure we have a spot for next year, we have already booked and can now count ourselves among the lucky few who can call themselves “returning guests” at Greenview. Let me start by saying we have been to Niagara-on-the-lake multiple times and this is the first time we decided to change it up a little bit by staying at a bed and breakfast in NoTL instead of a hotel in Niagara.

Greenview surpassed each and every expectation we had and then some. I think we have found the perfect bed and breakfast to stay in any time we decide to make a weekend trip to NoTL going forward.

Donna & Asim are lovely hosts whose attention to detail and hospitality are noteworthy and unmatched.

When I was booking their B&B l had mentioned that we are visiting for my wife's birthday. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Donna who went over everything we needed to know in detail. We were also welcomed by a thoughtful gift waiting for us in our suite. Moreover, she provided some delicious food recommendations and gave us complimentary coupons for numerous wineries in the area.

The Eleanor King Suite: We stayed in the Elenaor King suite and I found that the photos don't do justice to how spacious and airy the suite is in real life. The big french windows bring in a ton of light. The bed is immensely comfortable and we slept like a couple of babies. Hands down one of the best suites we have stayed in on a trip and definitely the most comfortable suite we have been in when it comes to visiting Niagara or NoTL.

Amenities: For people who need that caffeine fix at all hours of the day, Donna and Asim have set up a Keurig in the suite with lots of coffee pods. Tea lovers, dont fret because they've made sure you're covered as well. There are robes in the closet with an iron and ironing board. Free parking on premises.

Washroom: The washroom here is as big as some bedrooms in Toronto condominiums. There is a stand-in shower and a hot tub.

Donna & Asim: I haven't met better hosts. They were very welcoming and warm and provided amazing travel recommendations which go beyond things to do in Niagara!

On our way back to Toronto, we were already talking about booking their place for our next trip.
