We were fortunate to have stayed at The White House Boutique Bed & Breakfast in Niagara-on-The Lake, for 3 nights: July 6 - 9 2025 and had an absolutely fabulous experience. The proprietors, Sonny and Judy extended a very warm welcome and made us feel right at home from the very start.|The B&B itself was larger and more spacious than I expected. It had an “old world” charm, and one could see that it was lovingly cared for.|We stayed in the George Washington suite, which was clean, very large, bright and spacious. There was a beautiful, bright chandelier, as well as other lighting, which provided plenty of light. The room was beautifully appointed with an ensuite bathroom and shower. There were two queen beds which were exceptionally comfortable, I think I slept better here than in my own bed at home! There were two comfortable, upholstered chairs with a small table and lamp where you could just sit and relax, chat, read or have a snack. There was a coffee maker, coffee, milk, cream and filtered water in the mini-fridge as well as some goodies to snack on. There was a sweltering heat wave while we were there and thankfully the air conditioning worked flawlessly. We enjoyed some wine & cheese with our friends one evening after dinner, on the large balcony right outside our door.|We were so impressed at how beautiful and spacious the grounds were. The garden was beautiful and well attended to, with beautiful flowers and greenery all around, there was a sitting area where you could just relax and read or simply enjoy the beauty around you.|Judy catered to our tastes and dietary restrictions and prepared delicious breakfasts each morning. Sonny made sure we had everything we needed and was very helpful in recommending wineries, restaurants and other places to visit. It was so comfortable to sit at breakfast and just chat with both of them.|There was ample parking around the back of the property and the location was excellent, it was only a 15 minute walk to charming Main street and many restaurants.|Sonny and Judy made us feel like family and we would definitely stay here again – we are already thinking of when our next visit might be. The White House Boutique Bed & Breakfast could be a destination in itself! Highly...
Read moreWe have never stayed in the NOTL area so we decided to go that route this year for the weekend. My husband and I choose to stay at the White House Boutique Bed & Breakfast, and we are happy with our decision. It proximity to the center of Niagara-On-the Lake allowed us to leave the car and walk wherever we wanted.
We were welcomed by Sonny and Judy who quickly brought us up to speed on what was happening. We asked a few questions about dinner and winery tours. We were given coupons/discounts for local vineyards, and proceed to our room. The room was very clean and spacious, the linens and bedding were wonderfully soft and luxurious! I was pleasantly surprised with the decor it was classic and fresh. The bathroom was very clean and beautiful with granite counters, glass shower and large soaker tub and had the most wonderful soaps and shampoo.
Tastefully prepared and presented breakfast was just delicious. New tastes for the palate, they were so good and copious that we often shipped lunch. I can't believe Judy had no formal culinary training! But, as the saying goes “When you enjoy what you do...." It is evident Judy and Sony enjoy having people come into their lives. Would be recommend The White House Boutique Bed and Breakfast? Absolutely! Would we make a return trip? Only if Judy and Sonny will have us! Congratulations to this new establishment as owner/operators of The White House Boutique Bed and Breakfast. You should be proud of your accomplishments! You have a beautiful home that welcomes you as soon as you step in the front door. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay at your wonderful...
