Blue Willow Bed and Breakfast NOTL- Closed — Hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake

We have stayed at quite a few bed and breakfasts over the years, including pre-covid at Niagara on the Lake. The Blue Willow Bed and Breakfast is at the top of our favorites list.|The attention to detail in the room as well as at the breakfast table was excellent. Three main breakfast choices every day.|None of the above, however, were why we enjoyed the few days. The owners are the main reason it is a great place to stay showing kindness, respect, perception as to our needs and humor --all lending to a very pleasant week.|One of many examples of their attentiveness was researching times to cross into the US over the 3 possible bridges to ensure we had enough time to get to the airport, a day before we left. Maureen and Ian were phenomenal hosts! Both friendly and exceptionally kind people. We couldn’t believe the value of their B&B. The breakfast was amazing with many options, including the home made soda bread every morning, which was YUM! The home, our room and bathroom were very clean. Maureen even offered us a ride to a local wedding we were attending and gave great suggestions in the area, she went above and beyond. I also loved how she remembered all of our names. The constant availability of cold water bottles was a nice touch that came in handy. Location was also great, short walk to the main downtown core and waterfront. Would...

This traditional bed & breakfast is a delight. The hosts, Maureen and Ian, have an interesting home that is a wonderful place to make your headquarters for a visit to Niagara on the Lake. They have good advice, too, for places to eat and see. The beds are comfortable, towels generous, all is spotlessly clean and the downstairs parlor is a relaxed place to unwind after a day of activities. Breakfasts are well prepared and delicious. As others have said, take advantage of the wine tasting coupons and spend an afternoon driving through the lovely countryside. We’ve stayed here more than once and hope to go...
