This was our first trip to Niagara On The Lake, and we are certainly planning on returning. Our two nights with Maria at Via Veneto were a huge part of why we enjoyed our visit to this pretty place. Maria is warm, welcoming, and the perfect hostess. Her small bed and breakfast is just as beautiful as the pictures on the website|Our room, with an en-suite bath, was very tastefully decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside under a shaded tent, with flowers all around, and unwinding at the end of our sightseeing day.||Maria set up a guest refreshment area, supplied with water, tea, coffee, cookies, yogurt and other treats, in the living room of her home. In addition, Maria serves a a healthy, delicious and plentiful buffet breakfast each morning. She displayed an appetizing array of cheeses, fruit, vegetables, pastries, meat, eggs, juices, coffee and teas for her guests to enjoy. One morning, Maria served homemade rice pudding, and it was special.||The location of Via Veneto is close to the historic downtown area. Guests can easily walk or bike to restaurants, shops, and hotels on Queen Street. Charming!||Thank you, Maria, for your gracious...

Niagara on the lake will miss your...
Read moreWe stayed during COVID and I was not sure of what to expect, however Maria took it seriously and we felt very comfortable. There are 3 rooms in total. 2 have balconies. Ours had a lovely balcony where we sat and drank wine. As mentioned the breakfast was amazing but too much food (and I’m a huge eater). If you’re not a big breakfast person I’d let the hosts know ahead of time. If you don’t you will be guilted into eating everything on your plate. Put it this way...we didn’t need lunch. Breakfast was served at individual tables. ||The location is 20 minutes from town. However we loved the walk especially after breakfast. Plenty of wineries nearby. Awesome place we will...
