Tipsy Tap — Restaurant in Kowloon

I came alone and was asked to sit at the bar, even though unreserved tables were available. Had two Hanssen's gueuzes and a fish and chips. Fish was hot, lightly breaded in beer batter and tasty. Appropriate tulip-shaped glassware. Bartender tried the pour the gueuze straight down to create a head. Faux pas. I had to ask for the bottle to pour it myself. At one point all the employees, including the bartender, who seemed to be in charge, rushed to the window to check out a bunch of girls going into a club across the street. Nice environment and spacious! Round table for gathering and chatting! Music is so relaxing ! Foods are mainly burger, ribs, meat, snacks, etc; for the drinks, there are lots of draft beers and stouts to choose from with detailed prescriptions (tastes, ingredients and alcohol level) I choose the melting cheese with crab meat inside mushrooms and drink of Colours in the Dark. decent place for craft beer aficionados as it got more than a dozen on tap. staff were friendly and knowledgeable. a bit expensive for some of the beers but probably only reflecting costs. can imagine how difficult it is to control costs, inventory and freshness of the kegs amidst often sudden govt closure of pubs during this WARS period. haven't really seen similar beer variety on offer in other places in HK before. place was quite comfy and not noisy. good for enjoying craft beer alone or...
