A Mixed Experience with Room for Improvement

I visited this restaurant recently and had a few thoughts to share. The food itself was quite good—flavorful and very filling, which I appreciated. However, I felt the pricing could use some adjustment, especially when it comes to the drinks. They were noticeably overpriced, and I imagine many customers might hesitate to order them as we are against genocide happening in Palestine and boycotting the drinks brand. Although you guys have shakes, the customer can be lactose intolerant and cannot enjoy milk beverages.

One concern I had was the presence of alcoholic beverages in a restaurant that presents itself as halal. This felt contradictory and could be off-putting for guests who expect religious dietary standards to be respected.

Service-wise, I was surprised by the long wait time. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, I waited around 20 minutes for a burger and onion rings. That kind of delay really affects the overall experience.

Had an amazing late lunch at Burger Mate in Tsim Sha Tsui! 🍔✨ This hidden gem is halal-friendly and was recommended by a Influencer and boy, was it a fantastic find! 🙌🏼

Here’s what I tried:
• Black Truffle Mushroom Beef (10/10) – Not a truffle fan but OMG, this burger was juicy and had such a great taste. Devoured it in minutes! 🤤
• Signature Double Beef Cheese (9.5/10) – Huge fan of beef burgers and this one was next level. The taste and juiciness were to die for! 🍔❤️
• Black Truffle Fries with Swiss & Cheddar Cheese (9/10) – Fries were good, but with truffle, they were incredible! Served with a cheesy sauce, highly recommend! 🍟🧀
• Onion Rings (7/10) – Lowkey average but still one of my favs. Tasted as good as the ones outside, so good! 🧅✨

Overall, the experience was awesome! The restaurant doesn’t sell any pork or haram dishes, and their supplier is fully halal certified. The owner was super kind and answered all my questions. Loved the vibe! 😆👍🏼
