For us 75 F was hot, so we casually mentioned it and he promptly purchased a fan and put in our room. ||His sister, Xinia, prepared dishes for our special dietary needs. ||The mindset to cater to the personal needs of the guests seem to be very important to the siblings running the place. ||Deimer offered to pick us up from the bus stop and did drop us back at no extra charge. ||Our stay was extra memorable at Monteverde due to the wonderful hospitality...

This was a family experience and my son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren stayed at this small family run hotel. We were given the option of renting a large suite that had a kitchen with a big fridge and stove, living room and a bedroom with very cozy beds. We were warm and comfortable during a night with cold winds. Breakfast was included in the rate and was exceptional, fresh fruit, toast and home made jam, and eggs, ham, rice and beans. We only stayed one night but if we ever return, we will definitely stay there...
