Monteverde Jungle Living Tree Houses — Hotel in Monteverde

We were met in the car park by Edwin, who was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and contained everything you could need for a couple of nights stay including a well appointed kitchenette. There’s a heater and fan for making the temperature comfortable. |You can walk into town in around 15-20 mins for a choice of plenty of restaurants/bars. We got taxis back, as it’s uphill and was raining!, this cost approx $6, although I think it should be cheaper as the drivers didn’t use a meter.|Unfortunately the weather was terrible whilst we were there so we didn’t see any wildlife from our treehouse, clearly not a fault of the hotel. Edwin told us there’d been a couple of monkeys the day before, so it’s definitely around when it stops raining. |We slept so well whilst there, listening to the rain in the trees and on the roof was strangely therapeutic. |As mentioned on other reviews the shower isn’t hot, but wasn’t a game changer for us. Would recommend having a flash light if you’re going to be out after dark, the tree houses are down unlit roads. Would definitely recommend to others looking for the tree...

Wonderful location, beautiful quiet location, feels like you are in the Jungle/Rain Forest yet short walking distance to town. Accommodations look like photos with comfortable bed and living area and great outdoor seating. Kitchen is perfect. Edwin was a lovely host! Google map Jungle living treehouse to find the exact location, it’s in a beautiful quiet spot. Lots of wind from the trees and saw some coties and a squirrel and saw some monkeys closeby.
