Guest House Gugily, Dubrovnik — Hotel in Dubrovnik

Good location and rooms are ok but my god, something is totally wrong with the cleaning. We have not seen any cleaning done for the 3 days we were there, but the dirty laundry somehow stocked piled in the common bathroom (so someone was there to change the bedsheets but not to clean the common areas??). So after one day, the bathroom was not so clean, there was no more toilet paper left, the kitchen garbage was full and someone kept on letting his dirty dishes in the sink 🤦‍♀️ (the pictures speak for themselves…). Would not recommend that place...

The staff at the hostel were kind. It was clean and just a few minutes walking from the old town. My problem was the noise and sharing toilets with others. The toilet is okay but when there are people and don't respect the rules, it becomes a problem. You hear everything. Young people, younger than me who want to sleep during the day and party all Night long became a problem. The music was Loud, the talking. As I said you hear everything. That was my really issue. Location is perfect, 2 minute walk from old town and the bus station. Great to use a full kitchen and washing machine. Everything is very clean, however the roof slopes which can make the area feel tight and small. The rooms heat up very hot during the day and there is no aircon in the lounge room. Good for drying clothes in the hot rooms, but not enjoyable for eating lunch in the hot...
