Borna & Franko Rooms — Hotel in Grad Split

The location is great. It is just in front of the main palace.||We were staying in one of the double bedrooms. I am not impressed and a little bit annoyed by the room.. The beds were uncomfortable, the room doesnt have any amenties, no fridge, no boiler. The room had an air conditioner but the room was a bit clastrophobic and cramped, with no fresh air, and not proper window.||||In the first afternooon, we had lots of small flies in the room. We talked to the reception, they were nice and promised to do their magic while we were outside the room, but their magic didnt helped much. Same happened, when we asked for iron, promised to put it on the room, but nothing happened.||||Our main problem was that the room didnt have any space, ( no hanger, no wardrobe ) to hange and dry our swim suits or towels after swimming, and since there was not air flow in the room, even with the air condition, we couldnt dry anything and they remained damp. Same situation with the towels in the bathroom.||The room is also not cleaned during our stay. They are extra towels and toilet papers to pick up in the corridor, but nothing more.||||In the reviews, we read that the rooms are noisy, we didnt experience noise. ||All and all, Great location but not a...

Stayed here for one night - a Thursday in September - location is the big winner. Room ticks all the boxes too, recommending the downstairs studio flat which comes with a small kitchenette, large double bed, wardrobe, breakfast table and large bathroom.||Split is a small harbour town with little to see and do, so having accommodation in a central place seems a no brainier. The host was able to meet us early and check in by midday (very helpful!)||We actually ended up going to the restaurant outside our bedroom window - unusual for us but it had fantastic reviews and it did not...

The rooms are located a stone’s throw from the Peristil. The rooms we stayed in on the ground floor had an en-suite bathroom with a relatively small hot water boiler. The disadvantage of a small boiler is that you quickly run out of hot water but this is not something you will need on hot summer days anyway.
