It's a big property with a lot of nice places in the courtyard (big parking, barbecue, playground, terrace). I choose a room at ground floor and I liked the separate entrance, the big toilet (very good also for disabled), the nice room setup and furniture, the extra beds in the upper deck (see photo) and all little details that makes tourist life easier. For example, high quality sheets and blankets, like Fialka has, are not usual in bed and breakfast accomodation properties. Location is perfect, at 10 minutes walk to the entrance in the old castle, in a neighborhood with nice big houses and lot of space and you can leave the car in the parking place in Fialka's coyrtyard. Owner is a she and "adds value" to the property, because it's nice but not too pushy, a perfect balance between careless and not carrying. She speaks perfect english, which, in Chesky Krumlov, it's rare and precious. The barbecue place has a big refrigerator with a lot of bottle with different beverages - soda, beer, water etc. Pension Fialka was an wonderful accomodation in the beloved Chesky Krumlov and I'm happy that it was not a place to sleep (no matter how), like is all about other hotels and pensions I used to stay here in...
Read moreWe stayed 2 nights here during a very enjoyable trip to the city. We stayed in the king room with the large bunk bed and we loved it! The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The bunk area easily fits 3 older or possibly 4 younger kids. The owner was very nice and easily accessible if you needed something. Our 4 year old said it was the best hotel ever with the small playground onsite and the owner bringing her some toys for our room! We traveled with some friends so we also saw the quadruple room and it was also very nice! The hotel is located just outside the old town area with a short walk to the center. Being outside the city meant less noise at night when sleeping. I highly recommend a visit to Cesky Krumlov. It was easily one of the pretties places we have visited in Europe! If you decide to visit don't hesitate to stay at Pension Fialka! Great value for the location and...
Read moreThe pension is located a few baby steps away from downtown so it is quite convenient to stay here. We enjoyed our stay during the Easter break for four days and I have to say we'd be glad to come back because of the kindness of the staff and the comfort of the facilities. The lady who owns the place was very welcoming and nice to us from day one until we took off, she is able to speak great English and she even leaves some bread and cookies in the rooms for the guests to enjoy. The only disadvantage we encounter was that the wifi was not very good and couldn't reach it while in our room, other than that this is a...
