The location of this historic 6 bedroom guesthouse is hard to beat - it's halfway up the steps that lead to the castle! There's 3 bedrooms on both of the floors above a little souvenir shop. ||My hint if you have heavy or unwieldy luggage is to leave it in the luggage storage area on the ground floor, as the 2nd flight of stairs is even narrower than the first...||My room was tiny, as expected from the description, with an ensuite bathroom (with hand held shower). The view (see attached) from my attic was of the castle tower, which was just behind and above the house opposite. The Wi-Fi worked well but don't assume that the fridge dial is turned on and that it will chill whatever you put in there... it was only after my first night that I realised. ||I didn't order the breakfast in advance but that is available. Check- in and -out was easy although it's worth noting that although they say no check-in after 6pm, there was a lock box out the front so maybe that...

Would not help in explaining anything about the town and simply wanted money and to be done with us - not to mention she overcharged my card. Another day we politely asked to purchase waters downstairs from the fridge and the same person said she wouldn’t help us because she was too busy eating eggs and she does not have to work right now....excuse me there’s a sign that says the front desk is open from 10-17. Aside from the terrible and unfriendly service, the room was uncomfortable (hot, poor beds/pillows, outdated bathroom), loud from constant noise of tourists outside starting in the morning through late night (bar next door) and smelled of cigarettes.
