After wandering (and kinda waddling) around the castle and making the climb up the tower, we were in serious need of a chill spot to rest our feet—and that’s when we stumbled on Drunken Coffee. Total gem.

Inside is cozy, but the real magic is out in the garden seating. You’re literally sipping your drink while staring straight at the Český Krumlov castle tower. It’s peaceful, quiet, and just far enough off the beaten path that it feels like your own little hideaway.

We went for iced coffee, and it totally hit the spot—super refreshing after all the walking. Honestly, it ended up being one of our favorite little finds in town.

If you're in Český Krumlov and want great coffee, a view to remember, and a relaxing vibe, definitely check this place out. We paid 300 Kč for two drinks (about €12), which felt totally fair for the experience.

By far the most horrible service we’ve had here. Though the view is pretty good

Reply to Owner: We went to your cafe on Sept 22 around noon time. Walked into the shop to ask if we could just see the menu and was responded with “Can you please first take a seat, ok?” Which was fine...we sat down (outdoor facing the castle) then we wanted to see what cake options you have in the shop. After walking in the shop for a few seconds choosing what cake we want your waitress, with a horrible attitude, told us to “take a seat”. That’s when we started to feel unhappy with the service followed by unwelcoming attitude even when serving drinks. HOWEVER, in regards to your coffee and cake, it’s absolutely delicious! Just quite unfortunate that the service ( a big part of the experience) was the only thing that...

Nice view of river but super rude staff/ owner. I hang around the corner to wait for the coffee shop to open and I came in when I saw the lights on. At 9:55 I walked in and asked the staff "are you open" and he said "not yet but in a few minutes". So I came outside terrace to wait, not even in the coffee shop and the second man came out to say it's closed. When I told him "the other guy told me it would be open in few mns so im just waiting here" he said "no, its not, it's closed until 15mns more" and kicked me out. It was 9:57. Bad service/ bad way to treat people and affect so much to tourist impression about the city's people. The only thing welcomed me to the shop was a black dog of the coffee. He...

This second review is to capture the time to prove that I wrote that review after the opening time of this coffee shop (10:00), not what he claimed "wrote the review before opening hours". An owner with a broken watch, or a broken service attitude. If you dont want customers to be anywhere near your coffee before opening time, even at terrace outside the coffee shop, then the first staff should have told me earlier instead of telling me that "just a few minutes". And you could have just told me to come back in few minutes or have a look at the menu while waiting at the terrace instead of kicking customer away. I come to buy coffee, not asking for free.

Nice place to get coffee and cakes, really, seriously. The location is by the river, the outdoor seating are not so many, when it's full and you don't want to sit indoor then you'll have to wait. The cakes are good, I had red velvet and nut butter, it's light not too sweet just ideal to go with coffee. There are also a wide choices of other drinks, alc or non-alc. The place is really enjoyable, the service is friendly and helpful. Try it, i don't think you'll regret it. No parking lot, since it's also in the middle of old city center, just by the castle, so you'll have a grant view while seated outdoor.
