At the White Lily — Hotel in Prague

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, I'm so glad I found it on booking.com. As soon as we landed at Prague airport, I got a message via the app from the hotel checking on our safe landing and offering to arrange us a taxi. The receptionist Petr was helpful and polite on our arrival. Our room is lovely; spacious and tastefully decorated with nice drapery and flooring, and the bathroom is clean and modern, which contrasts beautifully with the preserved original features such as the deep-set windows. There is a full air conditioning, central heating and dehumidifying system in the room. The bed is very comfortable with a firm mattress and large pillows, and my back felt good this morning even after a lot of traveling and walking yesterday. We are on the ground floor and our door opens straight into the courtyard, where we had our breakfast al fresco this morning - the breakfast room has a lot of choice including breads, cheeses, meats and other traditional Czech fair, as well as cereals, salads, fruit, and a chocolate cream flan (a very novel breakfast for me). Fantastic hotel located in a great part of Prague. We stayed here for 2 nights in December 2019. ||||The hotel is located close to the castle, the Charles Bridge and other sights. The hotel is also close to restaurants, cafes, shops and convenient stores. ||||The room was very comfortable, hot shower/heating/WiFi all worked extremely well. The breakfast has a good choice of offerings. ||||We were on the top floor and the stairs to our room were steep and there is no elevator. Also, in keeping with the boutique design we had a sloped section of roof and both my wife and I banged the top of our heads on the sloped section. The outlook from the room was nice and looked down into the interior courtyard.||||Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and would stay here again on our next visit to Prague. This is a gem of a hotel in the perfect location in Malá Strana.

While it is no more than a few hundred meters from Charles Bridge and just down from Prague Castle, U Bílé Lilie is on a quiet side street and away from the hustle and bustle of tourists.

Martina greeted me upon my arrival, and we had a lovely conversation about Czech culture and the Czech language. She was a joy to speak with and was incredibly helpful as well.

My bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioner worked perfectly. Needless to say, I slept like a baby.

Finally, I don't think you'll find a better price for a hotel in Malá Strana.
