Sol Pyramids Inn — Hotel in Giza

"The Sol Pyramids Inn was a fantastic home base for our recent trip to the city. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. They provided great recommendations for local restaurants and activities, and even helped us book tickets for a show.

Our room was spotless and very comfortable. The beds were plush and we slept soundly each night. The bathroom was modern and had great water pressure in the shower. We also really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning - it had a nice selection of hot and cold items to start our days.

The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk from all the main attractions. We were able to explore the city easily on foot from the hotel. When our feet got tired, it was nice to have such a cozy and relaxing place to come back to.

I would avoid this unsalubrious dump at all costs. After a 12 hour train journey from Luxor, we were looking forward to our spacious family room for which we had a confirmed reservation. When we arrived, we were shown to a small, twin bedded room with no natural light on the ground floor (there was a brick wall very close to the building which prevented any natural light shining through). The owner/manager did eventually give us a second small twin room so at lest we had some space. ||We intended to hang around until 1am (having paid for a second night, our flight scheduled to leave Cairo at 4am) but could not bear the thought of doing so in such a depressing environment, so we fled to the Radisson Blu close to the airport the...

What a really lovely stay with Omar and team. Very attentive hosts with every need taken care of. My room opened in to the garden terrace which was an absolute oasis in Giza’s busy streets.
