I'm a seasoned traveler, having backpacked in 50+ countiees. Venus has amazing genuine staff who are heartfelt and really care about guests' wellbeing. 1. I booked a room here without researching much for a night on a non-refundable basis online. When I arrived, I toured the room and changed my mind about staying there because the hotel was older than I thought - that's completely my fault, I should have looked at photos before booking. I asked the manager Hassan if I could avoid being charged fully despite it being a non-refundable booking. Not only did he agree to only a partial payment, but he even had his staff drive me for free to another hotel I booked on the spot on my cell phone (I.e. Venus didn't receive a commission for the new hotel). 2. I booked a group tour through Venus hotel my first day in town - the price charged was very fair (and without undue overcharging/haggling). This was confirmed when I spoke to other guests on the group tour who booked it elsewhere. 3. I shopped around for other group and private tours on my following days in town. Venus was always among the cheapest options and provided generous and genuine advice without being pushy or trying to overcharge. Venus' Mo gave me his WhatsApp number and always responded to me almost instantly at all hours of the day and night, and was quick to defend me in a dispute with a group tour guide I booked through them. 4. Venus staff made lots of phone calls and spent a lot of time trying to help accommodate a complex transportation request I had. They were genuinely trying to help and be friendly, they were not focussed on maximizing their profit. 5. Lastly, they were sincere in wanting to help me enjoy my vacation - and were very welcoming when I came by one evening. I can't recommend...
Read moreThe motel is in an ideal location, close to the Luxor Temple, the banks of the Nile River and just a few meters away is the Souk market. The breakfast is quite enough, very enough, and is served by very kind and helpful staff. The rooms have slightly worn furniture but are very clean and well-kept, towels are changed daily, the air conditioning works flawlessly. I was very pleased with the room with a balcony. The staff is simply wonderful. I didn't feel like a tourist, I felt like I was among friends or family. Engy was a treasure who even organized the cruise on the Nile and it was great. She also helped me recover my bank card that was swallowed by the ATM, took me and even showed me some places like the Suk market with the famous OM Kahltum Cafe. I am grateful to her. I also thank Mohamed who is a friendly person with whom you can chat like friends and even make jokes, or help if there is any need or problem. But I don't want to neglect the rest of the staff. They were also super perfect and wonderful, friendly people who deserve to be loved .Greetings from Frankfurt am Main and I wish you success and...

Central Location: The spot couldn't be better. It was right in the heart of everything, making it super convenient to explore the area. Owner and Staff: They were the real stars here. Everyone was super friendly, and polite, and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. It felt like visiting family! Three Cute Dogs: If you're a dog lover, you're in for a treat. The three dogs at the place were adorable and friendly, adding a cosy, homely vibe. Spacious Room: The room provided plenty of space, which was great. It didn't feel cramped at all, making it a comfortable place to relax after a day out. The breakfast guy was super friendly. Hamada who dropped us to the airport was really good too.
The Bad:
Lack of Soundproofing: The rooms lacked proper soundproofing, making the noisy street outside a constant presence. It was quite noticeable, especially at night. Run-Down Bathroom: The bathroom needed some attention. The biggest issue was the toilet flush, which didn't work properly, and overall, it just felt a bit worn out. No shower curtain so the bathroom...
