We didn't know what to expect when we were seaching for different cruises from Luxor to Aswan. Prices varied online from $80 to $1000 a night per person. After looking at all the reviews online and having free time in Luxor I physically went and looked at the ships docked. From the outside appearance they looked similar with the exception of the Viking Cruise line. The review that stood out the most was City & Sea Adonis. So we booked a 5 day and 4 nights for my wife and I. When we arrived every staff member greeted us with smiles. Omar checked us in and assisted me with wifi which was included in the price. Remember to turn off VPN if you are trying to login. Immediately we were greeted with welcome drinks and well dressed bell man carried our luggage up a grand staircase. When we opened the door we were shocked at the size of the room. With couches and chairs with a King sized bed. Spacious room and bathroom with a refrigerator and TV. We especially enjoyed meals on board. Every meal was exceptional. Every meal had something for everyone whether you are vegan or a carnivore. If you have a sweet tooth, desserts were awesome (typically around 14 different types to choose from) and fruit was available also. Head Chef and Assistant Head Chef were always on top of greeting and making sure you had an amazing dining experience. Hamdy was our main waiter with additional support staff to make sure our plates were cleared and that we had enough to drink. Always friendly and standing by making sure our glasses of water were full. Our cabin steward would have our room cleaned before we arrived back from breakfast. We would come back and be surprised by a different towel animal (crocodile) on our bed or hanging in our room (monkey). The upper deck pool area was very nice. This is where they would have afternoon tea. This included snacks. Evening events included a night of free drinks. Tonight was a belly dancer. I can't say enough about what a great memorable experience they provided. Whether celebrating an anniversary, birthday, retirement or a romantic get-a-way, this is the ship for traveling from Luxor to Aswan without breaking the...
Read moreI would not recommend seeing Egypt this way or using this company. No one was there to pick us up from the train as expected. Be aware that your itinerary is a suggestion and will likely not go according to the confirmation. 50% of the 3night/4day cruise will be docked at Aswan or wherever you start. You don't sail until day 2 of the itinerary. You will be rushed through sites and be given moderately interesting tours at best. Edfu is a terrible place to stop. We were severely harassed by peddlers. If you've cruised anywhere else, be prepared that Nile Cruisers will not be a similar experience. Our triple room of three was just a double room with a cot (we all paid $619, same as those starting in a double) and the blankets were damp from the dryer. The room smelled like mold but we couldn't keep the windows open because of the boat exhaust while sailing. They won't give you more than one room key. Not even water or coffee/tea is included in the price, only food. The food was surprisingly good so they get 2 stars. Don't shop just where the guide takes you, he's making a commission. He'll tell you he's taking you to the best place but it's all a scam, like everything else you're likely to encounter. You'll do better on your own. The last day we left for tours at 6:15am and didn't stop until 2:30pm. There was no stop for food or even a snack or drink. We rushed to get a drink at one stop and we're being hurried away by the guide while trying to pay. You're expected to tip at every turn and even after we paid our tips at the end, I was carrying my own bags off the ship, hands full, and the staff watched with their hands out for...
Read moreAs a 16-year-old student from Egypt, attending a Nile cruise as part of a school trip was a truly unforgettable experience. The journey offered a perfect blend of adventure, culture, and learning, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Egypt’s iconic river.
From the moment we boarded, I felt a sense of wonder. Gliding along the Nile, we were surrounded by stunning views of lush greenery, ancient temples, and small riverside villages. It was like stepping into a living history book. The guided tours of archaeological sites were a highlight for me. Seeing ancient landmarks up close and hearing their stories gave me a newfound appreciation for Egypt’s rich heritage.
Onboard, the experience was equally exciting. The cruise provided a safe and fun environment where my classmates and I could bond, relax, and enjoy the scenic beauty. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we felt comfortable and engaged throughout the trip.
This experience was much more than a simple getaway. It deepened my connection to my country’s history, sparked my curiosity about ancient civilizations, and created memories with friends that I’ll cherish forever. The Nile cruise was truly a journey of discovery, reflection, and inspiration. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful and...
