Oasis Palace — Restaurant in Luxor City

So my husband and I wanted to try authentic Egyptian cuisine on our last day in Luxor. He found Oasis Palace on Google. This was a 3 minutes walk from where our ship docked. We walked in and right away felt so welcomed by our friendly host. There is an option to be in a smoking or non-smoking room. Very clean restaurant. The food......oh the food. Fresh and flavorful. Service quick.... We ordered: King Farouk Lentil Soup....a must try! Palace Mix Grill (Oriental Cofta, Chicken & Steak.......Awesome! Chicken Shish Tawouk.....Did someone say flavor!!! Apple Pie & Housemade Chocolate chip cookies...

We've traveled all over the world and besides loving to learn about different cultures, WE'RE FOODIES so it's important for us where and what we eat. We were in Luxor, Egypt this time and my son found this place where we ate 3 days in a row! The food, the flavor, the atmosphere, the service and the owner serving himself was TOP NOTCH. The pasta, the chicken, the cheeseburger, the shawarma... On and on I can go but obviously you have to try it yourself.

Service was nothing to talk about. I ordered the hunmus which wasnt flavorful it was runny and grainy, the fried potato skins turned out to be potato wedges some were thick and not fully cooked through the rest were barely in a cooked stare so they were fine just soft potatoes with a sweet mayo garlic sauce i ordered the vegetable tajine which came boiling hot the sauce was abit runny but it was fresh and the tastiest part of the dish the vegetables werent fully cooked through.in my house we fully cook it through so its my preference but some may enjoy it more with the vegetables having a...
