ATTENTION SCAMMERS!! A Horrible Experience, Avoid at All Costs!

We had an absolutely terrible experience at this restaurant. The food itself was okay, but the portions were tiny—definitely not worth the price. However, the real nightmare started when the bill arrived.

Despite ordering directly from the menu, they charged us more than three times the listed prices! When we tried to question it, the staff became extremely rude, aggressive, and pushy, insisting we pay the outrageous amount. We felt completely trapped in an uncomfortable situation.

As foreigners, we didn’t feel safe arguing further, especially given the sketchy atmosphere of the area. We ultimately paid just to get out of there, but we left feeling scammed, upset, and deeply disappointed.

To make things worse, the surroundings of the restaurant are disgusting and feel unsafe, adding to the horrible experience. Avoid this place...

Really poor. This place looked appealing given the proximity to our hotel and the outdoor seating area. Once we had sat down the menu they gave us was more expensive than the sign out the front which they justified as being out of date. They then charged us £100 each for beers (we should have asked, but still, more than double the standard asking price). Our food took more than half an hour to come out and it was very sub standard. Beggers and hecklers from the market also kept approaching us as we ate which was really annoying.

ATTENTION SCAMMERS! They have two menus (tourist and local), so far a “normal” scam. 40 minutes waiting for some chicken and rice, even though I was the only diner in the place. 50EGP for a small bottle of water (not on the menu) and when they bring you the bill, + 50EGP extra for foreigners. When I tell him that it is a very high price, he tells me that it is the same as the locals. The problem is not 1 or 2€, it is that they deceive you and on top of that, they treat you...
