Very nice cruise experience! We arrived on Friday and departed on Sunday, went to some temples and was very pampered on the ferry. Food was different every meal, and it was delicious! We’ve got some very happy chefs here. I get motion sickness easily but you can barely feel the boat moving. However if someone is slamming the door or walking past late night it can get a bit noisy. They provide most of the things that you need but it’s not sustainable, suggest to bring your own hygiene products. The cleaning staff are really cute, they prepare surprises for us when we arrive in the hotel! (A monkey and a crocodile) some boat man will try to sell you things through the window, they will throw the product up, make sure you don’t keep your window open if you don’t want anything from them. You get to see the flood gates during the cruise too. Room gets a bit cold at night during winter (I don’t think the heater was working for me) they give you morning call when you need to get up early! Overall amazing service and...
Read moreThe crew and the staff are very nice and everything is very clean: the cabins are excellently cleaned every day and the common areas are also cleaned several times a day. This ship has a style that we could define as kitsch: don't expect a modern cruise. The cabins are large and comfortable, the balcony overlooking the Nile is very nice and also the external space of the ship where you can sunbathe. The food is varied, plentiful and good; drinks are not included but are not expensive. It was our first Nile cruise and we didn't know what to expect, in the end we had a good time on this ship. The problem with these cruises is the time constraints and the fact that there are many ships that go to the sites to visit and they all move at the same times (thus creating crowds at the sites, crowds on the Nile and you are always in a hurry to leave). Three nights on this type of cruiser are enough, if you want to spend more time on the Nile I recommend a...
Read moreOkay, so what do you expect/want with a cruise? I’m usually one to be positive but…..Although the boat was ‘adequate enough’ we did have some serious issues with communication between our tour agent regarding just exactly what was to take place. We checked in at 11AM yet DID NOT sail until the NEXT DAY at 2pm?? When we did finally set sail we were a frickin convoy of 12 cruise ships ALL going to the same temples AT THE SAME TIME!! Needless to say the temples were a freaking mess with people and our given time was pathetically little. Although they fed you 3 huge buffer meals per day I’d give the food 5 stars (out of 10). The highlight of the cruise was actually…getting off. The drinks were never included with meals and grossly overpriced. It just all seemed so poorly run with EVERYONE trying to get a tip. And I mean, everyone.
Should you not mind any of the above criticism then I’d say you have thicker...
