Disgusting tourist food with overworked waiters who don't care or don't have any energy left to care, filled to the gills with tour groups. Everything we ate was horrible. Hands down, the worst resturant we've tried in Egypt. And incidentally, it only took 1 full hour to get our food.
We actually came here for coffee and check out the view. The view of the Nile and the Sphinxes are killer and likely worth a quick trip for a drink, especially at sunset. But, we made the mistake of ordering dinner here. Hopefully, this post will keep others from spending a lot of money on food they can't eat.
Btw, one of the surest signs this resturant wasn't going to be good was the throngs of tour groups eating here, with their guides. Any foodie knows that hordes of tour groups = bad, bad food. This sadly was true here.

Pros: great views from the rooftop restaurant, and that's it!
We had Egyptian chicken tajini , beef shawarma, camel pot, hibiscus and lemon juice. The chicken tasted fermented and uneatable ( we couldn't eat it) The beef shawarma, is not really a shawarma, it's more like a beef stew ( and they will tell you and die promising you that the stew is beef shawarma) The camel pot not the best , just boiled meat and flavourless.

I recommend this place if you don’t want to overthink a place to have lunch or dinner. Quality-price wise was very good, right portions and...
