Do not Come If You Want To Be Treated Well We were waiting table at the bar and ordered drinks. Then server took us to the table outside after 30 min but not offering a menu and ignore us for more then another 30 minutes. She took care of all the table around us but pretend not seeing us and not providing any service at all. We were tired and want to leave then the girl throw a check on our table but its for the other table. When we complain about the wait and she was finding excuse that she thought others took the order and she is busy but come on, you could always come by and ask but you were just ignoring us for more then 3 times when I tried to make eye contact or call you. What even worse is that when we try to leave she was blah blah with her colleagues. Never talk about your customer behind if they are still hereš I am not a though customer that never write a bad review before and I have been working in a restaurant so I appreciate serverās hard work but not that girl. I learned hospitality and owned a restaurant so I know how things works so do not try to fool me with your pool excuse. At the end, I never heard an apologizeš You guys have so many chances to make me not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMUMMA was an unexpected treat. The Asian European fusion works very well. Menu items rotate regularly with only one dish having remained since their opening. Just he aware of that in case you view old menus. Guests at the same table are encouraged to share samples of each plate ordered. Staff recommend 2-3 plates per guest which felt about right but that price adds up quickly. The chicken kaarage was well fried but a little bland. The vegetable wok side dish was very good but maybe could have used pepper. The beetroot and tapioca was good. Notice how everything I say is good, but only the sauces used were great. Each dishes sauce was perfectly matched to the main course it elevated. For desert the peach soup is a standout but very much full of sugar. Staff speaks English well and us very helpful. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. The outdoor seating is fun and the indoor seating let's you view staff as they cook. I'd happily return and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place was probably one of the best coincidences that I have stumbled upon.
That night we did a mistake by not reserving a place for dinner, so we just hopped around to find a place to host us, until we reached Mumma. We were skeptical at first, knowing its an Asian Fusion restaurant, in France, in Chamonix (A Ski resort); I mean what do you expect, right? But I was blown away! The 15-20 min we had to wait for a table was probably the best 20 min I had to wait for anything.
Upon entering the place it had this nice asian/Japanese vibe especially where we were seated. And the waitress, was lovely; she was super nice, attentive, and professional.
THE FOOD: It was nothing short of a Michelin Star restaurant - PERIOD!
The right word for it is ... WOW! Delicious, and very well crafted and presented. You have to try it and experience for yourselves, and you wont regret it!
Merci Mumma for...
